Feb trip..what hotel????

We're going in the first week of Feb for 4 nights. It's a celebration as I graduate from Nursing School the week before...After three years of that, I think my whole family deserves a vacation!!!

Since it's a short stay and a celebration, I wanted to splurge. I was thinking of the Poly, Contemp or GF (I stayed on my honeymoon many years ago..little did I know I wouldn't be back!).

My dilemna is: considering the iffy weather in Feb, is it worth the splurge on a deluxe hotel since we may not be able to use the pools? Or are the pools heated and can be used at that time of year if it's in the low 70's or so?

Lastly, my kids are dying to stay at the new Nick hotel. I was thinking of doing the first day/night there, enjoying the "ambience"-- and then going to WDW the next day and remaining three nights.

Congratulations on the Nursing degree!!! That is wonderful and you should reward yourself for all the hardwork.

For deluxes on the monorail definitely the Poly or GF. If you don't care about the monorail then I would suggest the WL. All have great pools which are heated. As for weather there is no telling what it will be like and Fla weather differs from year to year. We just never know what to expect.
