Feb. trip canceled...

I'm so sad. My daughter was scheduled to dance at Disneyland over President's day and they had to cancel it. I think they are going to try to reschedule for March or April but that seems too far away now!!! They apparently didnt get the time/days they needed so they are waiting to hear back. DH and I let our AP's expire and we were waiting til then to get new ones. Actually we are debating renewing. We want to go to WDW for our 10th Wedding Anniversary but we need to back off our DL trips to afford to go. I wish we could do it all.

Hopefully March or April will pan out.

I know how you feel. My short getaway next month is off too. DH has a conference in Anaheim and had booked 3 nights at the Grand Californian. The conference travel agent overbooked many of the hotels (and the one in Palm Desert too). Luckily I was able to find something for him on short notice and he will be staying elsewhere with his friend (who was also bumped).

Whenever some crazy travel related thing happens to me, I always end up with a better plan in the end. I hope the same for you.

Glad we hadn't booked that one! ) We just found out that Bailey will be doing tap to happy feet and wearing a cute penguin outfit in the recital! Not a fat penguin like daddy thinks...he might think it is a bit too skimpy!

That's a big bummer...especially when you're ready and excited to go. I hope March or April works out for you guys, the sooner the better. When I was in high school, our drill team was invited every year to be in the afternoon parade. We also took dance classes at the disney dance studio in the back. It was so much fun! We were able to see everything behind the scenes and get special tours and info. I hope you get to go soon, so much fun!!

Thanks they are supposed to take lessons from the Disney dancers in the studio as well. dh and I use to be CM's at WDW so I was excited to volunteer to go back with them. I'm sure it will be sometime this spring. They told the girls they were going to go later this spring and I can't imagine telling a group of 6 year olds unless they were sure!!! Talk about a rebellion if it doesn't happen!
