My mother and I will be taking my neice and nephews 9, 14 and 7 over president's day weekend Feb 15-20, I think I must be crazy! :confused3 I, not having any children myself, only travel in the off season. I am a fast pass user, and UG expert. But I am so stressed about this trip! My question is if all of my techniques fail, what can I do? What attractions seem to be less crowded and enjoyable? We'll get up early, but what do you peak season travelers do to cope with children and crowds? Is there a better place to watch "wishes" that isn't crowded but you can still hear the narrator? How do you stop children from bickering? Can I drown them in Bay Lake? :rotfl2: HELP! I need all the advice I can get!!! Thank you in advance. And Please I need the help of all you super parents who are peak season travlers.

We dont' usually arrive until the Monday (Pres day) but last year DD and I wenk to MK on 3 nights it was open until midnight that it was NOT an EMH night. I remember bopping in one night at around 10PM. We took the train to frontierland and waits for SM and BTMR were 20-30 minutes. We walked over the POTC and rode that and aladin with no wait. Then walked back and did the other 2 with only minimal waits (even though the signs still said 30 minutes) Came out and the nighttime parade was about to go by and snagged a place in front of Hall of Pres with no one else around. After the parade did HM, Peter Pan, I think a couple other things before getting stuck on Space mtn when it broke down at closing time. My point is that it seemed going against EMH was really advantageous and a more suttle point is don't pay attention to the sign times if a visual indicates they might be wrong. When we first arrive and the BTMR wait time said 30 minutes, we noticed people outside the covered queu. When we went back 1/2 hour later, we couldn't see anybody even though the sign still said 30 minutes.
This happened at Test Track one night rright before closing. Sign said 30 minute wait and we couldn't see andy people, so we walked into the building for a closer look and it was a walk on.

Wow :earseek: I can't believe that the park was open until midnight! I think we may just have to be troopers and get done what we can and hope for the best... thanks

I went three years ago during President's Day week and weekend....I went on a school trip for my younger brother and we had a group of seven 14 years olds. We never had a problem in Epcot....nothing seemed terribly crowded. Magic Kingdom was always horrible...and no matter what we seemed to do, someone was grouchy and complaining about being hot and/or tired. MGM was was never that badeither. I think we waited once about 40 minutes for Tower of Terror. At least it isn't as hot as the summer months! :) And being at Disney is always better than being...crowds or no crowds!

Thanks for the info. I think I have to approach this trip differently. 1. I am with kids meaning that I have to be sensitive to their needs and 2. I cannot compare this trip with my trips during the off season, or else I will be super dissappointed. Also I think I'm going to make a back-up plan like if everything is really stinky crowded we'll focus on those things with no lines while waiting for our fast passes to come up.
