Regarding the member cruise offered for February, does anyone have experience cruising in early February? What kind of weather could we reasonably expect at Castaway Cay, while on the ship decks, or at at port?

I've been very curious about that, also, Cap.

I searched for some trip reports on the Cruise Boards for cruises during that same time period, and many reported temps in the upper 60's/lower 70's. Sounds heavenly but, for this native Floridian - I'm afraid it may be too cold for me to snorkel.

We'll see...

Anyone have any first-hand experience?

In February:

You will find FLA to be your coldest port... around 75-79 daytime and as low as 64-68 at night or early am.

The Bahamas have little to no rain during the Jan-February season, with temps ranging from 80-89 daytime and 65-70, night/early am time.

Water temp for the Bahamas would be around 78 degrees.

Waters should also not be very rough at the time of the DVC Member cruise.

If you go on the DVC Member cruise, have a great time and post us on your trip! ;)

LauraJean,

Thanks for the info.
