Feb Feb vacation Day 6 (KSC

Day six finds us taking a break from Disney and driving to Kennedy Space Ctr. Spend the morning touring the sites and learning lots. See the IMAX movie and take the bus tour. DH, myself and DS 11, loved it all, it was a bit much for the 8&5 y/o. Head to Cocoa Beach in the afternoon. Enjoy the sand and play in the ocean. The kids are awed by it. Have a great supper on the cocoa beach pier and watch the tide go out. Stop at Ron Jons surf shop on the way back to Orlando. Tomorrow..AK

How long did it take to get to KSC. This is something we would like to try next trip.

We did the space center in 85 - seems like it was a couple of hours to get there - but I may be wrong. Another fun day. Thanks for posting!
