Feb 7th Eastern cruise anyone?

Hi everyone. We just booked our first cruise on Disney for Feb 7th and so excited we can't wait. Our son, 6, is looking forward to the trip and tells everyone he meets. Since it is our first cruise does anyone have any suggestions as to what to take along or what excursions to take?

Hi Joni - We will be there with you... My DH Randy (47); myself - Ann (35); and our DD Jaclyn (10). We will be continuing on from the January 31st Western. We took our first DCL cruise on the last February 8th Eastern and had such a great time that we decided to book two weeks on the cruise with one week to follow in Orlando. Our daughter loved it, and so did we! We met great people and are actually spending the week on the January 31st cruise with friends we made on board last year.

As far as what to take along, an over the door shoe holder is the greatest thing for the cruise - the bathroom is small and it give you a place to keep everything together.

We didn't do any excursions, just went shopping in the morning and hit the beach in the afternoon. We had a fantastic time!

We'll have to plan a DIS meet closer to the time. It's so nice to meet up with people you get to know on these boards...
