Some background:
Myself-40 something Disney nut hence my DIS name nutz4dzny!
DH- 40 something also feels the same as me!
Our 30th trip! 4th time BC Concierge! Also celebrating my birthday at V & A Chef's Table!
Our dear friends also came along,
Tom-His 4th trip but never with a Disney Expert! LOLOLOL!!! Also celebrating his birthday!

We stayed at the BC Concierge.
Temp. today was cold. I awoke at 5 AM and it was 40 degrees. High today was only going to 68.
Dressed warm and met for breakfast at the Concierge at 7 AM. Today. Friday, our plan was to go to the MK and stay until Spectromagic. HAving lunch at LTT and then dinner at O'hana's.
We had a wonderful breakfast, fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, yogourt, toast, bagels, muffins, doughnuts. crossiants, apples, pears, banannas etc! Fresh juice, coffee, tea and milk.
We did not plan on returning to the room so we brought 2 blankets in my famous "mickey bags" I had purchased 15 years ago at the CBR. They are great canvas bags laminated inside with a nice Mickey decal on them and my DH always complains that he gets stuck carrying the "dumb" Mickey bags! It's a running joke we have going!
Anyway we arrived at the park at opening and after a search we went to the lockers to store all our bags! One large locker fit 3 bags!!!
We then took off for Buzz, Tom & Kathy never saw it before! Then we made it into SM since it was going down for Rehab in the next day or so. While the guys rode that we did my favorite, TTA. We then went to FantasyLand and FP Pooh and then went on Snow WHite and then went to see the last showing of The Lion King. It is closing forever in 2 weeks they said. By this time our FP time came so we went to get another FP for PP and then went on SW and then back to Pooh with our FP and then over to PP with our other FP. If you use these just right they can be WONDERFUL time savers!!!
Needless to say our guests were impressed with my ability to get through all the lines that by now were beginning to form! We then went to Liberty Square and HM which was a 15 min. wait and then we made it to the HoP and by then it was time for Lunch. We did not have PS but we got to LTT at 11:30 and were seated by 11:45. Had a GREAT lunch!
DH's did the Turkey Dinner and kathy and I shared a Declaration Salad and the Salmon. It was wonderful! The bisquits alone with the butter, honey and apple, make the meal! Note: Our server only brought out the honey butter at first, had I not known about the apple butter and asked him for it, we might have missed it! So ASK!
After this wonderful meal we went walking around in AdventureLAnd and did Pirates, 10 min. wait and then JC with a FP we got while on the Pirates and then we went to BTMR. We FP that also as the line was 90 Minutes. SM was still down for Rehab so everyone was over there!
Finally at 5 PM the girls decided to head back to Main Street for some serious shopping and to stake out a curb for Spectro Magic. We went ot the Lockers after we stopped at hte Camera Place to pick-up our Offical Park Phote they we had taken upon entering the PArk! We made them take 4 sots and 1 came out great so we each bought one of the 4 of us! THen we retrived our bags and balnkets and found a great spot, (we were the only ones sitting down at this point!)
Reality Check...I am off towork, I will add Part 2 tonight...Spectro and O'hana's!
Back from work! After finding a perfect spot and spreading our blankets down, many people stopped by to talk. They said we looked like we knew what we werew doing so they chatted and asked tons of questions. A couple from Brazil sat on our right and a couple from Michigan on our left. It felt good to just elax and watch the people walk by. Kathy and I took turns shopping and getting bottled water and popcorn etc. We were seranaded by the Dapper Dans and watched the sun set and the castle start to turn colors! What a beautiful night. I even went shopping and found myself a birthday present, a 100 Year Mickey Jean Jacket!
Our DH returned by 6:45 PM and they sat next to us and told us what they had done! Thios was turning into the most perfect day and the evening promised to be the same! Finally Spectro Magic started. Tom and Kathy had never seen it before so they loved it!
After it was over, we decided to take the boat to the Poly for our 8:15 O'hana's. It was very crowded and we had to wait for 3 boats but by the time we got boarded and went to the Grand and then to the Poly, the Firewworks started and we had a private viewing on the Lake for them! Talk about timing!
We made it to O'hana's at 8:15 and got seated at 8:25! The chef came over to meet with us since kathy and I don;t eat meat and he made the most incredible veggie meal we ever had! First course was vegetables sauteed with a wonderful lite sauce and swirl pasta and then a macadamia encrusted Monk Fish that was heavenly! Of course the men LOVED the meat! We got back to our rooms in time to go to the Concierge for cordials and dessert!
So was this the most perfect day or what? I don't remember even falling asleep! Stay tuned for Day 3!
