For those curious about tags/paperwork:

Go to http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/reference . For "Shipment reference" enter your DCL reservation number. I put the range as 12/31/09 - 1/31/10. For destination postal/zip code I had been putting in the zip code for DU, but as it turns out I put in my own and that worked instead. Should show up Monday here!

Thank you so much for this link. It worked!! Monday is my magic day. It isn't showing my kids reservations, but hopefully theirs is on the way also.

The meet time and location sounds good for us. We're coming from 4 nights at the AKL and are on the 3-day cruise before this one, so I won't be online for about a week before our cruise.

I still have everything to do....

Not judging, just completely curious why you and others do the 3 day cruise right before (piggybacked on) the 4 night? What is the benefit in doing the 3 and 4 night cruise back to back vs. the 7 night cruises?

Woo Hoo.....just received our cruise documents from UPS today. Luggage tags included!! We are ready to go. It is getting close. I've been watching another thread about the launch scheduled for 4:39 AM the 7th and possible major traffic. Does anyone know the site to check if the launch is on for that day and time?

We finally made up our minds to stay at the Radisson the night before and take the 10:00 shuttle over. Now with the shuttle launch, I am wondering if we should just drive so we can leave early in case of traffic. I wonder if it will affect traffic around the port??

It's purely for a monetary reason. When we booked they offered 3 and 4 day cruises with the free kids deal, and we got Cat 12GTY. So, it made the back to back much cheaper for us than a 7 day. Also, we hopefully get to go to Castaway Cay 2x instead of 1x on a 7 day, and finally, the dates just worked out better for us this way. That's all!

We are now debating whether to change our hotel ressies- our original plan is we fly into MCO at 10pm on the 5th- go to Universal- staying @ Doubletree on HHonors points for 2 nights- Universal/IOA all day Sat (which is DH's 40th bday), and we were planning on driving to Port Sunday morning.... DH would like to see the launch- so.... are we crazy to switch and go Universal hardcore all day and drive that night and stay somewhere close to port? Is there somewhere near the hotels that we can just get up and walk outside to see the launch? Anyone? LOL This is making my head hurt! Just when I thought I had it all planned out!!!

Try this countdown clock:

OK, the one on this page is smaller, but easier to read!

Thanks Billinaz.....but I sure do not know how to read this countdown clock!!!

You're not the only one Karen!

I *think* it's an actual; days hours minutes countdown to the scheduled launch- though that won't help me on, say, Feb 6 when I'm trying to figure out plans without internet access! LOL

Ugh- still trying to decie whether to change ou plans and stay near port or not!

Thank you for the help. I was trying to make it more difficult than it really must be!!! Gotta love the Disboards

I'm not really stuck on arriving at any particular time (Probably not going to shoot for any upgrades), though the "nut" in me wants to be there first thing. At least since I'm "stuck" staying at MCO it won't be a day-breaker to show up a bit late...

We got our cruise docs too. I like the new format they are using. The old docs didn't seem very useful.

We just got back from Sunny Southern California and now I'm ready to go to Florida. Mary Poppins is AMAZING and it was so fun to visit Disneyland (even if it was just for a day).

For those of you doing the FE swap, I'll be emailing out the list in the next couple of days. I need a bit of time to catch up on everything from being out of town.

I hope the launch doesn't mess up traffic and such for us going to the port. NASA may change things as well, it seems that a lot of launches get delayed.

well, I may be out of luck switching ressies to stay near Port on Sat night- everything is booked, presumably b/c of the launch...at least I know we have somewhere to stay in Orlando!

Our thread was hopping a few days ago and now it has gotten quiet again. How is everyone? We leave in just over 3 weeks--hooray!

For those of you participating in the FE swap, I just emailed you the list. If you don't get it, let me know. Be sure to check your spam folder on your email, it will show up from shaunawright.

Don't forget that we are planning a DIS meet at 3pm in the Promenade Lounge on the day we get on the ship.

Hi! We're on the Wonder on the 7th too! :woohoo: How much time should we allow for traffic--do they divert/stop people from driving to the port? Please let me know what to expect. :confused3 Thanks!

Hi all,

Another 2/7 wonder cruiser! Im coming in from Boston on the 6th, staying in Cocoa Beach overnight and then getting on the ship. One way rental car from Orlando was 47 bucks, much cheaper than Disney transport.

I cant go back all the way thru the posts, but if theres a time for the meet, Id love to know, Ill be there!
