Feb. 7, 2008 3 night wonder...Anyone???

I got another idea!! Why not someone make up a flag/fish extender or something to identify the meeting spot, post a picture of it here so we all know what it will looks like. And on that day we can just look for the flag to find out where we should meet.

DH will not stand next to me if I am waving a flag....lol....Or someone can wear a really obnoxious shirt...:lmao:

Ok, I think I went overboard with the shopping for fish extenders...its only 3 nights!!:dance3: Mostly stuff for the kids....and I want to make sure I dont leave any kiddos out:flower3:

This is all moving so quick!! lol:happytv:
Remember we are in a different time zone so just can't keep up:banana:

well I have to say meet at sail away is a great idea - why didn't I think of that one???? Just pick a place there and we will be there as well then, we know what a few look like and will meet some before the cruise anyway!!!!

We are taking part in Fish Extender - Me Jon and DG - Kirsty.

Everyone will know what we have got it has England on it!!! lol:woohoo: :woohoo:

We do not have room number but our fish extender will have 'The London Couple' on it!!!

awwww.....

London COuple....the nickname I bestowed upon you 2...princess: pirate:

We purchased a fish extender as well off of Ebay. Searched under Mickey shoe hanger.

Meeting place sounds fine.

We have late dining and just got our cabin assigned on 2nd floor. Looks like cat 10, originally booked 12.

So many things to do before trip!

Jon

We'd love to meet some folks too, but bars are out. We're cruising with two little ones, and I plan to spend time with them. :thumbsup2

Is the majority of this group cruising without kids (or with older ones)? I was hoping someone else would have some little ones.

We have a 6 yo daughter - last cruise she loved the Club and spent quite a bit of time there. DS13 will be trying the stack but may opt for the Lab.

We will be together every minute from Sat-Thurs at WDW, so our kids will probably be ready for some solo play time...but we just play it by ear on what they want to do.

I was very happy to see this thread. We decided last week to try this cruise for the second half of our 5 year anniversary trip. We are so very excited as this will be our first cruise!!

We'll be without kids (2, 3, and 4 years old) as they will be staying home with Grandma so Mom and Dad can finally have a trip alone again.

It sounds like it will be a lot of fun!! Can't wait to possibly meet some of you and to experience Disney cruising. It is almost here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Can't tell I'm excited, huh? :)

Welcome! You say the second half of your trip....are you doing WDW or something else for the first half?

Congrats on the upgrade!

I will be attempting (stress attempting) to make our extender. You will find it easily...it will be crooked with pockets falling off!

I bought most of my "goodies" today, but I couldnt remember if your older one was a DD or DS!!
What does he like? Food and candy like my DS14?lol

Yes- he is at that really hard age when I'm buying gifts of any sort. When I travel and bring back something, DD is SOOOO easy - stuffed animal, play jewelery etc and she is done for $5. DS likes video games and more video games!

So in answer to your question - yes...I think candy-stuff would probably be a good pick for the extenders for this age group (and it looks like we have a few!)

I haven't started buying yet. Had dd's bday party yesterday (thank goodness it is over!) and can now focus on the trip. (yay)

Can anyone tell me what the difference in categories is? I am guessing a lower # is better?
Yes - cat's go from 1-12. 1-3 are suites I believe. Then there are rooms with verandas (4-6/) then there are the rooms with port holes (7-9?) and then inside staterooms (10-12?) I know those are the types of staterooms but someone may correct me on the numbers tied to each.

Welcome Dreamer13079!!!!

No kids?! :) With those ages, this sounds like a much deserved break for you 2!!!

JonR...COngrats on your upgrade...there is a place on this site where you can read stateroom reports!

Mom2PK...yes, I agree, what do you get for boys DS13...14? A video game is around $50, usually $60....so sad that my DS14 still has a Game Stop gift card worth $30...but cant use it!! lol Well, he can find a "used" game!

One thing...I am suppose to pack lightly according to DH...where in the heck am I going to put the fish extender goodies?! lol..I havent even told DH yet abt this..lol...
