Is anyone dressing up (kids or grownups) for P&P

and for the cruise...anyone dressing up on Pirate Night

We are going to wear pirate attire, but not overboard...I have a black and white striped shirt, that I wear with a red tank under it and black pants! The kids wear a little more, but its not a full blown costume!

We are dressing up!!! Kirsty as Minnie and me as a Pirate - all cameras are banned that night!

Not sure where to meet - easier for you guys to come up with a venue!!

I am trying to decide if I am going to wear the E. Swan dress from DD's birthday party. I know DH will not dress up (although I am considering getting him an informal sweatshirt of some sorts)

Did you get my PM with my cell#? I really think trying to contact in the park is easier than a pre-designated meeting time/place. You never know when someone will get tied up (like it a ride line), and to have the other waiting for a long time would not be great fun!

I did find an extender on Ebay, but am trying to decide if I can make one (I am not at all crafty nor can I sew) but I may try to fake it.

Based on these recent posts, I've been searching and reading about the fish extenders. I didn't realize it was an "organized" event per cruise thread. I had this picture of people running down the halls looking for decorated doors - well...maybe not running...

Saying that, with our "master list" would we get a count of how many cruisers will be participating, so we can figure out how much to bring? We'll need the count and the stateroom#'s, right?

If I'm missing the point, please set me straight! I know the kids will get a kick out this as a new thing for us.

I was up at 3am watching Basketball on the TV!!! We get some live NBA games over here!!! I did get the cell number thanks, and will chat on the 2nd!!!! Not sure what our cell number is going to be as yet!!! We have a new US Cell phone that DB is sending to the hotel for us - VERY THANKFUL!!!

I am unsure as to what gifts to bring to put in other peoples extenders . . . some hints would be great . . . .

Humm sorry about the duplicated posting. Anyway, I got my Magic Express luggage tags yesterday, so exciting!

On the main board I read about sometime you get free upgrade if you are a first time cruiser. Has anyone checked their reservation on DCL website lately? Anyone got upgraded?

I have just logged on and checked and I still do not have a room number for us. We just have a guaranteed next to us.

All we've gotten in the mail is a thing that says "confirmation - guest copy" and then some general info book.

If you have your confirmation number you should be able to log onto the disney cruise site and review...this shows your room (if assigned). It's also where you can book your excursions and pre-register, etc.

Enter your confirmation # and birthday.
You can find all sorts of info about your reservation there, and fill out all the forms in advance.

DB - Enough of the winking!!! lolFingers crossed for the upgrade apparently GTY rooms are the most common to be upgraded.

So how about the evening 7.30/8pm ish by the main shopping place??? Can then go to bar or something??? What do people think???
