Feb. 6 cruisers, are you out there?!?

Having just returned from the Wonder, and having had the pleasure of meeting a multitude of DISers, hubby and I are wondering if anyone will be sailing with us on Feb. 6th. It is our traditional anniversary cruise (we were married on Valentines Day, but for some reason it's typically cheaper to sail the weekend before). Anybody else going to be joining us?!

First, let me say that your posts and website have been great resources for my cruise planning.

I will be on the 2/6 Wonder with 3 of my girlfriends. It will be my 2nd trip on the Wonder, one roommate's 2nd as well and the others are DCL virgins. Our travel agents will also be on the ship with us. Hope to meet you on board!

like PammyK, i have also found your website to be very, very helpful in planning our trip. DH and I will be cruising with our DD (20 months) and 3 other couples, each with a DS between 13 and 18 months... it should be interesting to see how things go with all those babies! i feel honored to be sailing on the same cruise as you, barb! you are like a superstar in the realm of disney cruising!!!!

After spending 4 wonderful days at the Polynesian I'll be sailing with my wife, DS (18 mo.) and my parents. Very excited but also a little nervous about cruising with DS. I know he'll be fine but since I've never been on a Disney cruise I'm not sure what we'll do to entertain him during the day. Like I said though he'll be fine and I'm sure we'll all have a wonderful vacation. - Mike

banks37 (Mike), we'll be cruising with you, and there are 3 babies in our party, ranging in age from 17 to 20 months. I'm sure we'll see you around! Your DS will be fine, just remember to try to go by HIS schedule and it should work out. (That is definitely easier said than done when there is so much to explore on a cruise ship, but I guess I just meant to take it easy.) This is my DD's 4 cruise (first on DCL), and I booked this one with no hesitation.

Feb 6 cruisers,
I had to bump this post up. It's only a week away now
I am so looking forward to this cruise. It is my 3rd on the Wonder, and my DD's first. I will be the one with the camcorder on all the time. I need something to enjoy during the long winter nights next year
I hope DD has a great time.
I hope I get to meet all of you next week

PS I'd love to hook up at dinner with anyone at late seating!

PerdidoBay, we're on early seating. We're with two other couples, and 3 babies among us. I'm the same age as your DD, but most people think I look about age 15 or so.

Maybe we'll be seated near mike (banks37) and his DS.

Tony's Lasik went great! Now we both have "laser vision"
He says the luggage will be five pounds lighter without all his contact lens paraphenalia (I think his glasses alone weighed about 1 pound per lens ).
We will be in the adult-area whirlpools prior to the sailway, and we should be pretty easy to spot as we usually wear customized t-shirts with our website and photos of various crew members. Tony also likes to wear our Titanic t-shirts sometimes, as he has a warped sense of humor.
Should we all try to have a meet or just see each other around? Maybe we can all try to get together on the secret aft verandah at some point.

We'd be happy to meet up with anybody, anywhere. You can't miss us either, we are always wearing our lanyards with the DISboards or Dreams logos on them.

Meeting on the secret verandah sounds good, it would be a nice quiet area where we could talk. We could also meet in the Promenade Lounge, if the weather's bad. Just let us know the time and place and we'll be there.

Sorry I don't have time to organize something, but we are out of here tomorrow. We are going on the 4 night DVC cruise first and I am frantically trying to get us all ready.

Barb, glad to hear Tony's lasik went well. I didn't know you had it done too. I'm still trying to work up the nerve! Maybe we'll meet up in the whirlpool, at least I know what you and Tony look like from your website.
