We booked for the Dream - 5 day in June next year... I talk about pushing it out til 2012 when the new itineraries come out, but it is only 5 days, so maybe I can slip it in if I get a good bonus this year ;-)

I have to call the travel agent, since the price that transfered to them was different from the invoice on the ship, but not quite 20%... I also booked 2 cabins, so I have been told I can split them and use it for 2 cruises... but that is crazy talk! LOL

I have heard that they changed some of the shows. Can someone tell me what they were?

Saturday Night (first night)--All Abourd: Let the Magic Begin
Sunday Night (Formal Night) --Golden Mickey's
Monday Night (Not sure on which night this is)--Twice Charmed
Tuesday Night ---Maybe a couple of the entertainers (magicians/comedians)
Wednesday Night (Pirate Night)--Is this Movie Night?
Thursday Night ( I think..Semi-Formal)--Disney Dreams
Friday Night (last night)--Remember the Magic

I realize you guys were on the 6 night cruise and this might not have been the same. I'm just curious if they replaced some of these shows with something else. Thanks!!

Isn't Sunday the Key West day? Having Formal Night that night would mess some plans up, I would think. It will ours.

We rebooked on the ship for next February on the Wonder to Mexico.
Hope to see you all on another DC sometime, as we do not do any other.

We booked the MR as well. Figured we did the Eastern and Western and I have always wanted to go to Calli!! We booked for March, but might have to move it up. We got 10% for booking on board, then an additional 10%(not an additional 20%) .Those who booked on board will get the stateroom credit. If you waited to book after we received the letter with the discount, you do not get the stateroom credit. Hope that helps.

By the way, Wally, it was great to meet you (quickly at Palo's) . Was that your FREIN-A-ME you were with? Ben and Jamie?

I met a few of you disers, but I don't remember your screen names.
There was a couple in Sessions (martini tastings) as well as a young mom who booked Jet blue with me ( we shared a phone and bumped in to each other at the airport). Would love to identify you!! Do you remember meeting?

Anyway, what a great time!

I also got the cold thing the last day, well, what was supposed to be the last day on the ship and had it all week at WDW. Just getting over it now, but Tristan now has it at the worst point. He came home from work early today and has sneezed a million times.

Thank you everyone for the FE gifts! I love doing that.

We rebooked on the ship for next February on the Wonder to Mexico. Not exactly sure why, Tristan hated Mexico, lol! The people would not leave him alone, but we did get to see a tiny, little chihuahua stop in the big cement square park type area and poop. It was hilarious and I got a picture of it. It is already on my Facebook and has gotten laughs. It is funny! We may change it to something else, but we are going with my friend from work and her little boy who will be 6 at that time.

I know I am dreaming, but since I rebooked and got the 10% $200 for that offer, and now they are giving us 20% for the CCC, are they going to give me the 20% or only 10% more. If only 10% more, I will be kind of mad about it, as it is too separate things and it would be like those of us that booked onboard are only getting 20% for our inconvenience. I will be calling this week and will let you know what happens

We had a GREAT time even with having to wait in line for 5 1/2 hours on my feet to use the phone to try to call the hotel to cancel. I just got practice for WDW. There were LONG lines, but not at night. We rode everything we wanted at night in only like 3 hours at Magic Kingdom. It was great.

I never really thought of the 20% like you just described, but you are correct really. I should have gotten the stateroom credit and 10% for rebooking so I am only getting 10% now when everyone else in essence got 20%.

DH said cancel it anyways. He is annoyed he is sick and we constantly used wipes, washed hands and cleaned our room with clorox wipes.

Oh, and added to say we were, and still are sick with a sore throat and cough. DH got over it quicker then me. He is on the mend. I am still hacking ....man, we were so careful with the wipes too. Although there was a guy on the bus to the airport that hacked THE WHOLE WAY!!! It was so gross! I swear there was mucus flying.

Some people have not yet learned to cough in their sleeve!

That was us at the martini tasting! Did your friends have a good time? Was that your first time traveling together, your two families?

I did enjoy those martinis and am SO glad that it was on Monday since I came down with strep shortly after. With that horrible, burning sore throat I don't think I would have been to able to drink the martinis!

We've had our eye on the MR cruise, too, and noticed that they are fairly reasonably priced compared to other itineraries. Maybe the Mexican ports are cheaper than the Caribbean ones? Our family has never been out to CA, so it would be very exciting for us.

Yes, I am still sick, too! Took a full round of antibiotics for strep that I finished a week ago and I STILL have a sore throat. Feel much better, though... I think that the older we get, the longer these colds seem to linger.

I thought I was being careful, too, but next time I'll have to step it up a notch! I thought the ladies sitting in front of me on the airplane wearing surgical masks were going a little overboard, but now I'm not so sure...
