Thanks Cartersmum. I'm considering posting a notice about what they did on last year's cruise on the general board (maybe there are some Feb 5 lurkers on the general board that aren't on here). But man alive, there are some crabby people on the general boards. I self banned myself from even reading the general boards the last few weeks. They kill the Disney spirit. To say that they behave like children would be an insult to children. I do believe that making our opinion known would be our best bet though.

I can do that. I typically have very thin skin, but have come to understand that many on the DIS are just crazy, and I can live with that.

I'm not thinned skin at all when it comes to my life and my job, but this is my vacation and I am determined to have a perfectly Disney experience. Ha ha, it is so funny that we are opposites.

On a different note, can I just say how much I love the Feb 5 Wonder Sailing Disboard? No crazies in sight! I'm on here all day long!

I'm gone for a day for work and everyone has posted like crazy!!! So much catching up to do!!!

A pre-cruise meet is a great way to kick it all off!

On the FE topic - is there an updated list? I know there are more peeps now and I want to be sure I don't miss anyone. Not that my gifts are all that exciting (no so crafty and seriously time deprived!) but it's the thought that counts...right?!?

Also, how do we know when we are supposed to deliver our gifts?

If everyone wants to do it whenever, fine by me... Let's just go with deliver whenever you want. Then you can make it work with your schedule and the shows you want to see.

I know this is crazy but sometimes when Im in Sephora,I daydream that I am the millionth customer and get a "grab all free" shopping spree.Philosophy is my fave .Its love.

Are you dressing up for Pirate Night?

Well, we're working on it. I'm trying to make our costumes. I may have to buy 1, or maybe even 2. I'd really like to at least make DD and DH's. I've purchased material for DD's so I'm pretty sure that one will happen. I'd really like to find her a small stuffed parrot to sit on her shoulder. I don't know how she picked it up, but she knows what pirates are and that they have ships, a patch on one eye and a parrot on their shoulder. I think she's going to really enjoy the pirate party.

I was about to say, have we met, but then I realized, none of us have. So you should know a few things about me. 1) I love Disney 2) I love to vacation as often as possible. 3) I love a good dress up party. You can see pics on my fb page of how often I like to dress up. LOL So yes, we will def be wearing Pirates!!!

World. *Because of this, we do not offer or recommend any information
about these independent sites.

Please check the Personal Navigator once you check in at the cruise
terminal for information on the Sail Away Party.

Guests can watch the game and check the latest scores and updates at
Diversions on the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder, and at 687 on the
Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, the sports bar on the ship.

However, since the ship is in International Waters there could be
challenges receiving the signal.

I hope this information has been helpful. *

Interesting "canned" response. When the game starts, we'll still be sitting in the port of Los Angeles!!! Somehow, I don't think there will be any "international waters" issues affecting the reception at that point.

For what it's worth, I also sent a message suggesting that I've heard from Superbowl cruisers in previous years about events being moved and that I'd prefer to see the Sailaway party held AT SAILAWAY ... not everyone is a football fan and wanting to see the game take over everything on the ship.

yeah, i agree, some of us may be crazy, but we're normal crazy.

brian, that's why i had to ban myself from the normal boards. i was going to become one of them if i stayed there. they don't seem to understand that they can't win their argument by becoming a lunatic. if you want to win an argument, you need to use some sense and some solid facts. i was on the verge of getting very snarky.
