February 5, 2009 3 Night Bahamian Cruise on the Disney Wonder.

:cool1:

My Hubby and I just booked this cruise. We will be staying the previous 7 nights at Port Orleans - Riverside.

This will be our 2nd Disney Cruise...can't wait to go to Castaway Cay again.

Hope to hear from some others that are going.

Hello...I just booked this cruise for myself, DS who will be 7 at the time, and my DSis. This will be our first time on the Wonder. We did the Eastern on the Magic last September. We are actually doing back to backs and will start with the 2/1 4 night. I am really looking forward to two of everything!!

Welcome!
I was starting to think we would be alone on The Wonder! ;)

We have a group of about 6 cabins (so far). We all belong to a Winnebago Camping Club, and this is our "Winter Campout". We are doing a "Land & Sea". although some are just going to stay in Fort Wilderness for the whole week.

Can't wait!!!!

We are booking this cruise also. We will have about 4 cabins. Group of friends from West Virginia.

Hope we get some more action on the board.

We have been on three previous Disney Cruises and love them all.

We'll be there as well. Doing the land/sea with the Poly! Me, DH, DS 5 and DS 2.

Hello!
We are also joining you! Me, my DH and DS, 9 who will be thrilled to make new friends! This will be our second Disney cruise,we did the Thanksgiving Disney Magic Last year with DH's whole family. We had an amazing time and can't wait to go again!
I am counting the days!!

I'm glad to see that as we get closer to our sail date, we are starting to see a little activity here.
We are making our final payment on the "Land/Sea" portion this week. Today, I looked at our flights (Southwest) to make sure they didn't change times and found out we could redo them and save over $200 due to an unadvertised "Internet Special". :yay:

P.S. MadisonWI...we've been to Madison many times and LOVE it there. My favorite Drum & Bugle Corps is The Madison Scouts.

:confused3 Ooops! I can't believe it but I posted under the wrong cruise! Sorry! Chalk it up to being a computer newbie! DUH!
Gee, I wish that meant I could go on both...
I'll warm up the ship for you all! Have a great time!

Interupting your regularly scheduled program.............

We are thinking of booking this cruise JUST Dh and Myself To take advantage of the $99 bounce back offer from DCL.

Are any of you guys taking advantage of it?????//

Not many of you i see........
But this is the least expensive of the cruises and We just want a long weekend away if we do a cat 12 witht he bounce back it is only like paying $300 each for both cruises!!!!!!!

Okay back to your regulary scheduled program already in progress!!!!!!!:wizard:

I think it has to be a 4 night, (this on is only a 3 night) then you get to book a 3 night for $99 each.

Just thought I should say hi and introduce myself. DH and I will be celebrating out 16th anniversary on this cruise. We have been to WDW over thirty times, but this is our first cruise and we are so excited.

I am hoping to have dinner at Palo. I'd love to book a couple's spa package, but I'm not sure that is in the budget. I do plan to snorkel at CC. We just might stay on the boat and enjoy it instead of spending much time at Nassau.

We are leaving our 3 kids at home with Grandma. However, I look forward to cruising with the kids. We will take the kids when our youngest, Logan is 4. He is 2 now.

any advice or tips for a 1st time cruiser?

Hi everyone.
My DH and I will be on this one as well, staying at AKL before the cruise. Made the last payment last week, the count down is now on! hope to see you there.

Hi everyone - we are a family of four from the UK looking forward to this cruise, our first with Disney :)

We are also staying at AKL the night before, then back to SSR for a few nights afterward.

We are celebrating our dd's 12th birthday on this trip and are also taking our younger ds3.

Can't wait to go and keeping fingers crossed for sunshine ;)

Welcome!

Sounds like the Animal Kingdom Lodge is the place to be the night before we sail. Right now I'm just planning on booking the La Quinta at in Cocoa Beach for about $65, but AKL sounds more fun!!

Welcome Aboard:

If you can you DO WANT TO BOOK AT PALO... It is a great place to dine and very romantic.

Also, staying aboard when you visit Nassau is a good idea. There is much to do and you can relax with the ship to yourselves.

A disboard meet is a good idea sometimes. We set a location for board members to meet and you can ask any last minute questions you have.

I'm thinking to booking this cruise or the one on Jan. 22nd. Why did you choose Feb. 5th over one in January? I'm looking at these two dates due to work schedule and price as I'm going solo.

I've never been on a Disney cruise and want to do at least one before the EB TA cruise I'm booked for in 2010.

Either one requires me to take off Thursday. The only real difference is that I also have to take Jan. 15th off for an appointment. If I go on the Jan. 22nd cruise, then that's two Thursdays in a row. I've been approved for all three Thursdays though.
Jan. 22nd would mean missing a scrapbook weekend hosted by a friend that I don't really want to attend anyway. The cruise would be a good excuse for not signing up. :rolleyes1
Feb. 5th would give me two extra weeks to get ready.

Sounds like Feb 5th makes sense for you. Plus, you'll have at least one friend on board, ME!!

(I'd like to be on a cruise RIGHT NOW! I'd go sooner than later, I'm not known for my patience.)
