FEB 3, 2008 ABROAD DISNEY WONDER--Who else??

How about a "Pain Killer". New favorite tropical fruity drink. Rum, as recommended by Captain Jack to be liberally administered.

:beach::drinking1 :drinking1 :crazy:

2 oz Pusser's® dark rum
1 oz cream of coconut
4 oz pineapple juice
1 oz orange juice

Shake or stir ingredients, and pour over ice in a tall glass. Sprinkle nutmeg on top, and serve

Yummmm, that sounds wonderful:lovestruc

Will the packing never end?!??? I have everything laid out. Just gotta get it into the bags. I think I need a seperate bag just for magnets and goodie bags.

Also have to feed the snake, get the dogs things together so oldest DS can take her with him for a few days, get the lizards stuff ready to go b/c we can't leave him here. DH and DS #2 are going up north to go skiing after we leave. I can't believe all the stuff we have to go through for a 6 day trip!!!!

It's just nuts around our house right now. We are having the house painted so we can hopefully list it for sale this summer. I knew it would be disruptive, but geez. I need to clear out where the painters are going next before we leave on Saturday. Thankfully they are just moving to hallways and areas without a lot of stuff.

And why do I always have to pick up the house and do all the laundry before we go? It's not like anyone is going to see it. :laundy:

Just keep thinking about that Mickey Bar.:mickeybar :mickeybar :mickeybar

DS says that the Mickey Bars are "complimentary" so he recommends everyone have at least one. "What about sprinkles", I ask. He says, "Yes!!!!"

:lmao: I'm the same way I can't go on vacation w/o a perfect house first...my kids think I'm crazy. I just hate coming home to a mess. The coming home part is bad enough!

Okay I have finally finished all my school work.
Now maybe I should start packing!!! :scared1:

For everyone leaving tomorrow and Saturday....Have a great trip.

For everyone already in Orlando. Glad you made it safely and thank-you for the weather reports. It helps with our packing. Yes, we are still packing.

..............The coming home part is bad enough!

Isn't that the truth! My DH would get so upset about having to come home from trips that oldest DS started creating "red herrings" for him to get mad about. He knew he would get upset about something so he'd leave something not too bad for him to vent about. A little too much pop psychology probably. But he would vent, relax for a while and then be ok. I've noticed that he's stopped being upset when we come home and I've taken over the role. :rotfl:

STILL PACKING??????:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Janet hasn't even started yet. I think she is going shopping tomorrow for a few (hundred) last minute things for the trip.:rotfl2:

Looking forward to meeting everyone on Sunday!

Me too! all I have to do is shop, clean, and pack...that's not too bad is it?
and tomorrow is my pedicure! I have to squeeze that in!;)

You know what I'm gonna miss next week, Paczki Day. (poonchkey day). The Polish community in the Detroit area put their spin on Fat Tuesday and there are Jelly Donuts galore for sale. Not just any Jelly Donut. It's a big fluffy sugar sprinkled ball of jelly goodness as my kids would say. I'll just have to go to the Pirate Night desert buffet instead. :yay:

I try to enjoy the planning and getting ready part. It's all part of the trip to "don't cha know".

and did I mention that I haven't done my door signs yet?

You had school work to do afterall. :worship: I am very lazy and went the store bought route. My little trinkets are pretty darn lame, but it's the spirit and thought that counts, right?

Shoot. I forgot that we have a window and door service guy coming by at 8am. Our front door hardware is broken and our painter broke a window! Not good when it is 15 degrees out! I better get to bed.

Hope everyone's packing and shopping goes smoothly.

Juli

I am afraid to find the condition of my house when I return (hubby and kids staying home;) ). I am scheduled for my pedicure tomorrow morning and my hair cut too:thumbsup2

Forty more to go and the boards have gone quiet!:scared1:

I guess I could have a dialogue with myself--no you can't--yes I can
No you can't---YES I can.

Sorry about that--no you're not--yes I am!

See what sleep deprivation can do for you!:rotfl2:
