FEB 3, 2008 ABROAD DISNEY WONDER--Who else??

Finished packing last night!!!:cool1: Missed the chat:headache: .

Good to know that you made it safe and sound Shawn! Don't envy you for having to do clothes AND pack. Sending you a little extra pixie dust!!:wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Gotta go!! Last day of wqork and we leave in the morning!!

See you all on the ship.

We are almost finished. Still have the carry on to pack and a few little things. I can't believe it is finally here! We leave tomorrow afternoon:banana: .

Mom and dad are coming tonight to get Jadie and we are going to the Japanese Hibatchi restaurant. We love to eat there. Then a half day of school and a boring meeting later we are out of here.:cloud9:

I don't know if we are going to make it to 1000! We need 74 more posts...not sure it will happen with just a few of us here.

Tara

Then I have to get a few posts in tonight and maybe one at 2am before we leave.

The weather here is awful today. I am looking forward to sun, rest, and relaxation.

Hi ladies,
How was the chat? I wish I could say I've finished packing. I wish I could even say that I've started. I have that every-growing stack but not a suitcase in sight. Hopefully, I will have the energy to start and finish tonight.

I know there are a million threads on this at CreativeDis, but I thought someone here may know. I was trying to do the iron on transfer thing. My white and light colored shirts came out fine, but anything I put on a red or navy shirt is a waste. I tried using both the dark transfer paper and then the light when the first one didn't work, but neither seems to look right. I even tried different brands. I'll give it one more shot tonight, maybe using a lighter colored t. Luckily, I caught the 5/10.00 sale recently at Michaels.

Thanks,
Janet

I wish I could offer some advice but I am not crafty at all:confused: Hope you work it out! the shirts sound great:thumbsup2

Hello from Orlando!

The weather is warm and humid. Our flight was delayed by half an hour and we made it through to the Alamo rental counter unscathed. The girls were angels on the plane, never making a fuss. A bratty girl who whined and cried sat in front of them. I suppose they took the cue and behaved.

I've just put the girls to bed... just. They were so giddy and rambunctious in this hotel room. Thankfully, DW and I am too tired to be too annoyed with them.

We didn't really have dinner. We went to Costco on our way to the hotel and basically "sampled" our stomachs full.

DW is asleep and I am nodding off even though it's just 8pm. I hope we can adjust to a later schedule by Saturday for the P&PP. The girls are signed up for the Grand Floridian Pirate Cruise at 9:15am - they might just need a forced quiet time/nap before the P&PP (that's what happened last year).

Warm weather? Great! hope it stays that way for next few weeks. Thanks for checking in and have a great time at the PPP:wizard:

My 5 year old wants to do the Pirate Cruise on our next trip to WDW...I hope the girls enjoy it...sounds like great fun.

or my first Pina Colada:hyper:

How about a "Pain Killer". New favorite tropical fruity drink. Rum, as recommended by Captain Jack to be liberally administered.

:beach::drinking1 :drinking1 :crazy:

2 oz Pusser's® dark rum
1 oz cream of coconut
4 oz pineapple juice
1 oz orange juice

Shake or stir ingredients, and pour over ice in a tall glass. Sprinkle nutmeg on top, and serve
