Think hard!!! We would love to have you. If you are not planning on going to the parks this is a cheaper way to get to see it. Tickets are around $35 instead of $75 so it was a budget maker for us!

Oh, you'll get no argument from me that it's a great value, and I suspect a whole lot of fun. I would love to go. It's just that we will be spending five whole days at WDW after the cruise, so the only draw is the party (and seeing you guys a day earlier ) Plus like I said, I'll have just come off 48 hours of overseas air travel, plus the flight to Orlando that day, so I might be prety beat up by then. On the other hand, I might be pumped, and raring for action. We'll see. Never say never

OK, so we're adding Gmark to the magnets list and I think PrincessEmilysmommy- she had pm'd me about the gifts and mentioned that her magnets were done.

So we are up to 11 rooms? (10 names on the list- pixieprincess doing it for two rooms)

And for the gifts that list is right unless anyone decided to add after I posted it. I had gone back and scanned the posts up until that point. So 9 rooms participating unless anyone changes that now. Sound right? (Just made my 9 last night! DD is so excited!!)

I agree with the Gmark's posting of the room numbers comment. I think I PM'd mine to you, Tara. Do you want to cut and paste the numbers that you've received onto the list and PM it to the participants instead of just posting it? Or if you want to PM me with it, I can forward it to everyone.

I know my DH is not happy about me giving out our room number so keeping it semi-private would be good. I keep telling him none of you are crazy (none of you are crazy, right? ). I just insist that you are all just like me- regular people who love disney. I don't think that helped my argument He thinks I'm crazy!!!

I think we can all agree that you have a good point, gmark, and we can respect your, and everyone else's, privacy to the extent each wishes. I'm glad you are willing to participate in the magnet exchange to the degree whith which you are comfortable.

With my appologies, I think I have to back out of the gift bag exchange. I just won't have time to get them together, and DW is too busy being a temporary single mom to do it either. If we get it together, I will still distribute no obligation to reciprocate.

Tara, is there still a plan to do some kind of gift exchange? I still see the Dirty Tink section on your web site, but participation seems too low to make it really fun. What are everyones thoughts?

I want to give out magnets for one time only and either hand them to families at the ship meet or to someone else to dole out.

For privacy reasons, I don't want our stateroom number publicized outside of the Magnet Exchange group especially online.

Which ever you prefer! You will give us your cabin number when we go to the meet? Or do you want us to hold your magnets till we see you....maybe on the last day or something?

We are only doing the magnet exchange for 1 room. You can put it on either door. The DF who is comings mom has been in the hospital and just moved into rehab. I didn't want to ask her to make any and I cannot commit to 10X4. Doing the bags for both will be easier (I have been picking up things for a few months and DD11 can help put them together).

Tara, thought I sent you the numbers. Will get them to you soon.

I literally won't know until the last minute. Usually we head to WDW just like LoveMyDisneyCats. Earliest flight in the am and lastest flight home. Gotta max that vacation time. My problem is that I used Frequent Flyers this time and the only flights were a short afternoon flight getting in at 7:30pm or a 5am flight with a long lay over arriving at 6:00! But......we can fly standby on the morning nonstop for no extra charge IF there are open seats. So far there are!!

I wouild really like to go since we aren't doing any park trips this year.

Lost Purse Finally Returns

When my daughter was a sophomore in high school she went to Orlando for a youth leadership convention. After the convention, they went to Disney World for two days. She was visiting the Human Body Pavilion when she lost her small purse. She returned to the pavilion with her friends to search, but they did not find it.

In September 2007 we received a Fed-Ex package at our door. My daughter is now married and has children of her own, but the package had her maiden name with our address on it. I called her to ask if she knew what it was and she did not, but said to open it up. Inside was her small purse that she had lost over 16 years ago. It had her wallet, traveler's checks, student body card, lipstick, etc. With it was a note from the Epcot Park Duty Manager saying they had found her wallet when they were renovating a building at Epcot Center, and he wanted to get it back to her. To make it extra funny, we had just gotten back from a visit to Disneyland with my daughter and her family that day.
