FEB 3, 2008 ABROAD DISNEY WONDER--Who else??

Just discovered something else to add to our list!!!!

Superbowl Sunday is the first day of our cruise! I guess I won't see my husband will I. Maybe DD7 and I can have some alone time! LOL Or maybe I can talk DD7 into going to club and we can have a girls night out!!!!

Tara

This will be our second Disney cruise and I'm so excited! :cool1:

It will be my husband and I plus DD 18, DS 14, DD 7, and DS 5...

I've been reading the posts and now I'm very jkealous of those going to the P&PP...I wonder if I can talk my hubby into that as well...;)

Welcome aboard!!!!!

Check out the Krewes webpage at www.travisfamily4.net/cruise.htm

PM or email me your info and I will add you to the group. Be sure to give the following.
Names, Ages, Cat/Cabin#, Dining Rotation, Celebrating?, Want to participate in Magnet Exchange, Secret Tink exchange, Beer/Wine Tasting Meet, 1st meet on Sunday, Superbowl Meet. WHEW!!!

Glad to have you....Keep on your DH about the P&PP for the money it is a great deal!!!! Since we won't be having any real park time this was a great way for us to see Magic Kingdom and save money off the $75 each price for the daytime.

I made our fish extender! It is on black pirate fabric with Red and White strip pockets. It is a bad pic I know...but it was my cellphone.

I also made DD two dresses...now I just have to wait and hem them and see if she will actually wear them.

Okay, I give up. Where can I get more info on pirate:&princess: ?

We will be staying in Orlando that night and may want something to do.party:

Also, what has Lime Green to do with all this:confused3

YEAH!!!! I am so glad you guys are going to come to P&PP! There is a meet for about 6:45ish by the Jungle Cruise ride I think....

Did they ever decide if they were going to do wishes that night??? I know they are doing special P&PP fireworks though. I think we should all get together for the fireworks for sure if not the parade too.

Tara

I am a little bummed. When I ordered the tickets they still had wishes scheduled. Now it is gone. Oh well, I'll just have to be happy with the pirate fireworks and of course the fireworks on the ship!!!

Our flight leaves 1 month from today :yay:  :cool1: :cheer2:

If my link doesn't work, just go to the disneyworld website and click on special events.

I may be wrong, but lime green has kind of been adopted as the "official color" of the DIS. It makes it easier to recognize each other.

P&PP Meet: Yes
Welcome Aboard Meet at 3:00pm:Yes
Boys Beer Tasting:Maybe

Tara

P&PP Meet: Maybe pirate:&princess:
Welcome Aboard Meet at 3:00pm: Planning on it :thumbsup2
Boys Beer Tasting: My idea, guess I better show up :drinking1
Girls Wine/Martini Tasting: Well, if its just for the girls...:stitch2:
Magnet Exchange : as many as I can afford :teacher:
Secret Tink Exchange : This could get expensive. Let me think about this one...:confused3

Don't forget the Super Bowl! This doesn't have to be for the guys only. Or the ladies can go hang out at the bar...:scratchin

BTW, the wine tasting we have been talking about here, is it the "fancy" one they do in Palo's?

Everything I read seems focused on dinner. How do breakfast and lunch work?

On the day we board, is dinner the only meal served?

On the day we return to dock, what meals are served?

Is there a midnight meal served anywhere?

Is there stuff happening on board 24 hours a day, or do they close down at midnight or some such hour?

Not an expert...but I will try.
The day we board there will be a few places open...mostly buffet. I think that is what you are "suppose" to do when you get on. GO EAT!

On the day we return breakfast is served in the dining room you had dinner in the night before. I MEAN EARLY!!!!

Most of the stuff I saw on the Navigator was closed about 1-2ish. THe kids clubs close before that though.

Here is what I copied about wine tasting
Stem to Stern Wine Tasting: $12/person
If a casual overview of wine tasting is what you're looking for, then the Stem to Stern Wine Tasting seminar is definitely for you. An excellent addition to the adult entertainment series onboard the Disney Cruise Line, this session is perfect for both the experienced and amateur wine gourmands. For one hour the Disney Cruise Line's sommelier (trained wine experts) walk you through tasting 5 wines and one sparkling wine or Champagne.

YEAH!

I have a suggestion about Secret Tink since the attendance is kinda iffy.

Maybe we could just buy a gift for "A" family. Then we can get together whoever is participating and put all the gifts out, draw a number, and play Dirty Tink!!! Number 1 goes first choses a gift and then #2 can steal of get a new one. Then #3 can steal or get a new one. (of course if your gift is stolen you get to pick a new one from the pile or steal another gift...not the same one back)

That way if you bring a gift you get a gift to take home and we have a fun game to play. You could even buy one there in the gift shop if you decide to play latter!

So what do you think????? Dirty Tink :tink: YES or NO

My vote is Yes

Tara

How can we NOT play a game called Dirty Tink?!:lmao:

I'm in. :yay:

Should we set a price range so no one gets hurt feelings?

And we may need to decide if this is for the kids, families, or adults. However, since this means we won't be buying so many presents, we may all be able to afford to do one exchange for the families with a kid-centric theam, then a whole nother pass just for the adults with grown up gifts like a bottle of wine, or white elephant:dumbo: .

And like Tara said, if you don't want to participate, in both, just bring one gift.

That's what I though the answers would look like. Thanks, T.:tinker:

P.S. You don't have to be an expert to have good information.

Great Idea!!! Dirty Tink for Kids and Dirty Tink for adults. You choose which you want to do or both! Since some of us are not traveling with kids this would be great for them too.

I am in for both kids and adults.

We got assigned a cabin Number today!!!! #6309 it is a Cat11 still....but I guess there is still a chance for an upgrade right?????

When do upgrades normally happen. Is this our room number for sure...or is there still hope. Till today we were just GTY.
