I've got to find a way to watch the Shuttle launch. I have a friend who lives in the area. Maybe he can give me some pointers.

Date: Feb. 7
Mission: STS-122
Launch Vehicle: Space Shuttle Atlantis
Launch Site: Kennedy Space Center - Launch Pad 39A
Launch Time: 2:45 p.m. EST
Description: STS-122 will deliver the Columbus European Laboratory Module and will be the twenty-fourth mission to the International Space Station.

Jetty Park at Port Canaveral is a viewing area for the launch. It's just east of the DCL Terminal (West Turning Basin). It's $5 for parking and technically we get in about the right time to settle for viewing. There's a concession stand and washrooms. But again, can my kids handle waiting around for four or more hours??? Good thing the beach is nearby.

Great info! the beach should keep the kids busy for a while sounds like a great idea.

FYI for those going to the P&PP before or after the cruise- I read on another thread that the photopass you get that night has a 40% off coupon on it! It doesn't look like it is good on the CD but should be great for us since we would probably only order a couple of prints.

That sounds great!!!!
What are we going to do about the PhotoPass? Are we sharing one or are we on our own.

Okay, that has me rethinking the whole photopass CD is we get several us together (I already have 4 people, so $25 each is I preorder). I'll have to check prices.

I would be willing to go in on a PhotoPass CD for $25. I also would use the 40% off. I am one of those, Gotta Have It NOW girls.

I leave on Wednesday, (going to the World for a few days first) and my fish extender I bought on ebay isn't here yet, nor has it shipped yet.
I'm going to get to the craft store today and hope to find some canvas bags to sew together. I really wanted the cute disney one I bought!

I have my magnets and goodie bags ready! I have my autograph mat w/ chocolates for thank you's ready. I'm working on an autograph pillow case for dd, and I have to put the magnets together, then I'm set!

WOW....You will beat us all there I think!

I am not going to do the pillowcase. We have one from Disney World a few years back. I do think I am going to get a photo mat and put it in a bag with some markers. I think that would be something we could hang on the wall.

Yeah!!! Time is flying by now! I just can't believe that this time next week I will be leaving for Disney! Next week at school is going to be horrible.

What did you get? A hanging organizer type or a custom made "real fish extender." I got a princess letter organizer that came from way far overseas and it took awhile. They never responded to my shipping update questions, but it just arrived the other day. I think it got held up in customs for a while. Here's to hoping your disney one comes! Otherwise, for the bag thing you could always get disney iron-ons or patches and make it all cute!

I have my bags ready, but haven't started my magnets! I have all the art saved on my computer, but I need to get working!!!!! Hopefully this weekend cuz we leave Wednesday too!

Another one to leave early!!!! Why aren't you guys coming to P&PP with us then??????

BTW, did anyone get a pin from Disney? I got one today-30% for room only and our 2 nights before the party are listed. Sent it to my travel agent and they told her the pin is invalid. I just forwarded her the whole email. Even at ASMO that would save us a few hundred. I hope it goes through this time.
