What's the Grouper Game Room???

Its a large open air wooden structure near the bike rental place where they have basketball hoops, shuffleboard, giant size chckers and chess sets and more. I havnt been in it since they remodeled CC so I dont know for sure what they might of added or taken away.

My grandkids use to love the giant connect four game there. It was taller than the youngest kids who were 3 at the time.

They use to have pool tables too.

Just another fun place for all ages to stop and do something for a bit.

I know lots of people who have been to Castaway Cay a few times but never have been anywhere but the family beach, the souvenir store and Cookies BBQ.

But there i more to see and do than that.
I like looking in the tiny Bahamian shops there too. They are fun to browse through and I have bought a couple of things in the past.

I know lots of people who have been to Castaway Cay a few times but never have been anywhere but the family beach, the souvenir store and Cookies BBQ.

But there i more to see and do than that.
I like looking in the tiny Bahamian shops there too. They are fun to browse through and I have bought a couple of things in the past.

Haven't made it to Serenity Bay yet, either. My DD loves the splash park area, so we go there and I've done the CC 5K, so I've seen some different parts of the island. I love finding new things each time we go!!

I will be back sunday from a 3 day cruise on the Dream. We leave tomorrow so I wont be posting until we return sunday. Then is anyone has questions about the cruise , hopefully I will be able to answer them.

Anybody doing any excursions?

We may walk to the Pirate museum because Peter hasnt seen it. I have been 3 times.

I always rent bikes at CC and ride the 2 trails. I like looking over the island from the Observation tower. Plus the Grouper game room is fun too.

We were going to stay on the ship at Nassau. This will be our 3rd time there but now we are thinking of walking to Queen's Staircase. That is something we have not done before. Anyone done that before? Is it a long walk?

On Castaway I wanted to do the stingrays but I think the water will be too cold. I like it to be above 80 degrees lol So our plans are to rent bikes. I LOVE that bike ride around the island. And then we will hang out on Serenity Bay. This is our first cruise without the kids so we are looking forward to checking out all the adult only areas.

I always ride in the morning before lunch then relax after lunch.

DD and I just returned from 3 days at WDW. Loving our FL weather. Hope its this nice in 28 days! We have reserved a cabana at CC and that's the only excursion we have booked. Lots of relaxing planned! LOL

Sounds amazing! I'll be there with 7 other kids (not that I'm in charge of all of them)...but I am so looking forward to it. I think it is going to be a blast! And yes, the weather has been A-MAZING here in Florida. Let's hope it stays like this for our cruise!!!

First I was vcounting the days, now I am counting minutes

We are leaving the kids at home this time too. This is our anniversary cruise

We were thinking of trying the zoo or Queen's Staircase. Just not sure what yet. We normally stay on the ship (the kids would rather do the AquaDuck) or just do the market. Like you, since we don't have the kids this time we thought we may do something in Nassau. I am not sure how long of a walk it is. I did find this....
