5 days until we cruise!!!!

Yes, and the forecast for Nassau on Friday has gone up one degree from 73 to 74. Now if we get a degree from now to then, we'll be really good....fingers crossed!!

GOOD LUCK TO THOSE DOING THE PRINCESS AT WDW THIS WEEKEND! We can't wait to see you on the cruise. I'm off to run my pitiful 2 miles this morning. I can't imagine running long distance! I'm in awe!

Yesterday while I was at WDW I saw all the white tents, porta potties, roads detour signs all ready for the runners.

I will be a hot weekend for them to run. It was 85 yesterday and today is to be 88 degrees.

Ha! The weather is too sad for me to report any longer. I have never been on a cruise where I'm not in bathing suit all day long. This will be new for me. But I'm betting it will be fun no matter what.

The pools are heated. Does anyone know what temp they are heated to???

The weather for Bahamas is a little better than Florida. If we can eek out mid 70s, I'll be okay with that. But I'm from Ohio, so that's hot! We'll be in Orlando a couple days post-cruise, and it's looking right now like 60s, so that's not so good. Hopefully the forecast will change.

10-days ago it said Nassau will be 79 on Friday and I thought that was bad. Now it is saying 73. BOO!!! That is really bad. I'm hoping it is wrong too and a quick change comes to the heat side!!

I hope it warms a bit too.

Last month it was only 65 for us at Nassau and we were told it would be cool and rainy on CC. So we slept in but got up to warm sunny skies and it was in the low 80's and not a drop of rain.
Wish i hadnt slept in after seeign that great weather.

So maybe that will happen again.

I was looking up something today in our reservation and noticed the pirate party is at 9:45 PM. Is this correct? When we went on the Dream in May 2011, it was at sunset...so I'm assuming that was between main and late seating for dining. I am having a difficult time picturing my 4 year old staying awake for this after a day of swimming. Do you know?? He loved it last time but I know it wasn't this late. I have photos and you can see the sun setting.

Our last Dream cruise Dec 2011 the pirate party was late but I forget the exact time. I do remember the fireworks being at 10:30 and hated it being so late but we stayed up for it.

I am going crazy checking the weather 1637812 times a day lol I have several weather sites that I look at too I am ok as long as it is 70 or above and NO rain!!. We have been in the 40's - 50's here lately. Today it is in the mid 60's and it feels so nice!

I just pulled out my old navigator from our Dec 2011 Dream cruise. The pirate party started at 7:45, so not as late as I thought it was. This cruise it is late isn't it? I really wish they would do the fireworks earlier too. It is hard when you have kids that are tired.

There are 2 parts to the pirate party.

As posted above the first part was 7:45 P.M. for about 30 minutes. lots of characters, dancing and such.
Then at 10:30 P.M. was the fireworks. Also for about 20 minute prior to the fireworks was a show (where the earlier party was) with Captain Jack Sparrow and he actually gets the fireworks started.
Mickey use to do it.

Also I think the kids clubs had pirate events earlier in the evening for kids and families so the little ones didnt have to stay up too late.
