Sounds like you are a veteran

Are there any excursions you'd recommend in Nassau?
We're signed up for the Forts & Junkanoo just to get a little island history in, but I haven't been able to find any reviews of that excursion. I'm open to suggestions if there's a better one. Thanks!
Welcome aboard!!!
May I ask you your name? I am Kathy.
First cruise!! WOW you guys picked the right crusie line ot have an awesome time. Sorry we havnt done the excursion your booked on. I have seen both forts . One is pretty complete the other still has enough left to go see it but not alot left after all the years. I like Queen Anne's staircase and that history. Is that on your tour too?
The pirate museum has a ton of the history of the Pirates in the area. You can do it on your own either before or after your excursion if you want. Its behind the straw market (2 blocks). You cant miss it, its a large purple building. This link will tell you all about it.

It only takes about an hour to go through it. Its been 6 or 7 years since we have been in it so I do not know the price. Since you have a 5 year old I will warn you the first area you enter is dark. Its a night scene at a wharf but after that it does stay light. Out back are stockades to take your picture.
i also like the aquariun at Atlantis and I dont care about aquariums but this one is pretty good. The tour goes fast but you can walk back through on your own at your own speed afterwards. Just show your wrist band. If you go there eat good before you go they are extremely expensive to eat there.
We are doing a FE which means Fish Extender. It is an inexpensive gift exchange among all those here who want to participate. You can make your own FE which is a couple of pockets that hang up on a fish or sea horse by your cabin door.
Here is mine.
People leave a gift in it during the cruise and in return you leave a gift in their extenders. It can be something homemade or store bought. We have received things like Disney themed book marks, coasters, post cards, stickers, mini photo albums, CD of Disney music, candy, pirate eye patches, disney pens or pencils and much more. So you can see it can be just about anything you would like to give.
Here are instructions to make one even if you dont sew.
