We're looking to go to DL in February, but we don't actually have much time to spend there, I'm thinking 2 days to do both DL and DCA. Last time we went, in 2015, the crowds seemed pretty manageable for the week before President's Day. We're still on the fence about this trip, so I'm wondering if there's any insight on if SWGE will dramatically change the experience. I know there have been comments on lack of crowds, but then waiting for AP block out days to open...maybe there's no way to know, but I figured you all would be the best place to check.

It's probably too early to tell right now, tbh.

I usually go to DLR in late February and am planning on doing it again in 2020. We go the week after President's Day as that's our wedding anniversary.

That is a month after ROTR opens, which nobody knows for sure how that could impact crowds. It could draw in a huge influx of guests during the relatively "slow" season, or it could be like the SWGE opening, and it not be too terrible. Unfortunately, there won't be any way to even guess until after ROTR has opened in Jan.

Yup!

2015 is eons ago in DLR time! Crowd patterns can change more often than you'd think depending on rides, weather, school calendars, AP calendars, etc. Be aware that President's Day is not just a 3 day weekend in the DLR area. Many schools get the whole week off now, which adds to the crowds in the parks.
