Hello All! My family and I had such a magical time at Disney during his leave period from Afghanistan. It was beyond words. I actually cried on my last day in my beautiful room at AKL with all "my" gorgeous girraffes/zebras/ and wilderbeast around me!! I was so sad to leave Disney. Now I have caught the Disney bug and would like to plan another trip back before my boys are to old to enjoy a holiday at Disney with Mom and Dad!!! They'll be 16 and 12 this coming trip. I live in Edmonton and we flew with United last time.... HORIBBLE flight, there was NO entertainment for 7 hours!! I've never been on a plane without TV or radio to distract you for the lonely airtime!
I'll never want to fly with United again. I've tried looking up prices for vacation pkg and flights but my dates seem to be too far in the future to get any quotes. I would like to try another resort this time (actually split the trip) at 2 resorts. I am thinking first 5 days (Feb 5, 2009) until Feb 9 trying Beach Club for their apparently good pool for older kids. And then last 6 nights at AKL again as we LOVED it there!!! Planning on Flying home Feb 16th, 2009. So if anyone has any suggestions how I can begin to get a good deal for my family during this process (there are 4 of us : kids will be 16 and 12). I'd be so greatful for the help! I booked through AAA last time, but was hoping that with some leg work on my own, perhaps I can do a better deal? Our last trip came to $6,500.00 with airfare, AKL Savahnnah view room, Basic Dining plan and MYW park hooper plus Waterpark 8 day passes. Any thoughts/ideas to help me?
