Someone told me when I started planning this trip back in January that time would fly by. So far so good I guess lol. Although I have done nothign but stress about getting everything perfect. From having the money to go (discounts), to the ADRs, to even getting the kennel booked for the dog
Wow... seeing Johnny Depp in person.... I probably would have lost it! That man only improves with age!

We have been saving like crazy. DD even picks pennies up lol. Hopefully they keep saving when we get back lol. ya know, to pay for the next trip

So will I really miss out on a code if I don't call right at 7am Eastern time? I unwittingly booked my trip through a AAA agent, before I found this website, and there's no way my agent is going to be in her office at 5am here(I'm in Mountain time). So am I seriously out of luck? That really seems unfair that Disney won't talk to you if you booked through AAA, and I won't have equal access to the discounts either because of my time zone.

Don't worry...most of the general public will not be up at 7am est to take advantage of codes. We're just code crazy here..lol..but serioulsy as soon as you get the code call your AAA TA and ask her to call Disney. Since you booked through AAA, then only the agent on record can make the call. If you call, Disney will tell you to have your TA call back instead. It is true that space at certain resorts is limited and you will want to have your TA call asap but you probably won't be completely locked out if you don't call at the crack of dawn.

And I'm also thinking that in the past, haven't we gotten the details of discounts a couple of days in advance before we could actually start calling and applying the codes? If it happens that way this time then you (and the rest of us) will have some advance notice.

And what am I looking for at 7am tomorrow? Will there be an announcement, or do I just call Disney's 800 number with my information?

The suspense is killing me!!!

I have been contemplating a trip in February (it will have been 4 years since my last trip). However, finances are tight right now (in the process of buying my first home). This could be the discount that allows me to take my trip!!

Ok, another newbie here when it comes to this whole code thing. My thought would be that this whole time they have had the special rates for fall---- and they are still available. If they truly are coming out with the Mother of all discounts, specifically because of a slow economy and fewer people in the parks, would they really "sell out" in a day? I guess what I am trying to say is that I am wondering if the Average Joe is going to wake up tomorrow and see "Wow, Disney is practically giving packages away--- guess it doesn't matter that the house is being foreclosed on, let's pack the kids and go....", or if in all honesty it will mostly be those of us on here that have so diligently been waiting. And, if it is us, we would hardly constitute the max amount that Disney has alloted.

Regardless, I am anxiously awaiting to see what is waiting for me tomorrow morning when I log on

Just my 2 cents. (But, then again, I may be trying to comfort myself because my TA- who happens to be my best friend- is on vacation in Hawaii right now, so there is nothing I can do until she returns on Sunday )

If it's as huge a deal as MouseSavers is suggesting, then that means there are a lot of unsold rooms. Getting up to call at 7EST is fine, but my guess is that most views at most resorts for most dates will be available well into the day.

If you are super-particular (you absolutely must have a courtyard view/bunkbed room at WL, for example) then it might be worth calling ASAP. Otherwise, I wouldn't sweat it.

No, it doesn't matter if you booked online, you can still call for the discount just have your reservation/confirmation number ready for the CM. You can go to mousesavers.com for the code info. It may or may not be released tomorrow so you will want to check in the morning and periodically throughout the day as there was some talk of a late afternoon release.

LOL! They didn't give any of us much choice. It was 8 pm on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. Johnny had a plane waiting for him at the nearest airport so in order to let people see him, but get him going fairly quickly his body guard wouldn't let anyone touch him or ask for autographs. We were just thrilled to get that close to someone that famous. What can I say, we're small town hicks. We saw him earlier in the day on set too in his costume, but those pictures were a bit blurry due to my crappy camera.

My dates are in there!! For the gift card too!! But I'm booked 6 nights and we already have air so I guess that means I'd only get two days free?? I don't know, I have the opposite problem, I wonder how they are going to work vacations over 7 days. I have 10 nights planned with 10 day tickets.. Pay for 6 get 4 free ?? Who knows...
