Thanks so much for the advice Can I ask one other question? If I wind up having to cancel and rebook my ressie, will it affect any ADRs I have made? I don't want to lose out on Cindy's Royal Table or Chef Mickey's. Thanks!

I had to do the same yesterday and I had no problems with my existing ADRs.

well i have figured out two different things. in the past the general discounts have come out between 10-31 and 11-3, which could mean that we might have three more days left before we find out. the other thing i noticed was that a lot of the codes in the past have come in the middle of the week, in this case we might have to wait a little longer. i am really hoping for some kind of news with in the next day or two. but do you really think that disney will release discount codes on a weekend?? I wish they would just release the codes already. all of this waiting is driving me nuts? if the discount is good enough we might even upgrade our better resort. please disney, please release the code.

I am on the west coast and after waiting all year for a code, I'd hate to miss it so I've been getting up at 4 the last few days waiting for a code...

That's what I was thinking...that codes wouldn't come out on the weekend. And isn't also that usually the Disney Visa Card holders get to go first for a few days then the rest of us get our shot?

it has not always been disney visa card holders first. one year they did the general public first which really up set some of the disney visa card holders. but i think that only happened once. my guess is that disney visa will be first, but disney has been shocking lately.


where are the codes, Disney

I'm a Disney Visa holder. What do I do to sign up to get the code alert from them? I've never gotten a code.

I go here for the Disney Visa promotions. The dining one was on here immediately. I got an email from Chase the day after they posted it on their site.

Okay, one more question related to my above post about what to do if a code comes out on the weekend. If I can possibly try to take advantage of the code other than through my AAA travel agent, who is it that I call? Disney directly? Another travel agency? I am going to be if the code comes out on the weekend and I can't take advantage of it because I booked through my AAA agent.

I book through AAA also and generally for AAA there is a slightly different code. I have not had a problem the last 2 years applying it for the discount and the ticket upgrade. I usually save about an additional $200. Usually if I find the code on the DIS, I call my agent and she hasn't heard of it yet. This being said, I have never had a problem applying it. I have found with AAA it all depends on your agent. This is why I use one in NJ when I live in MI - I love my agent!

Rats! I thought (well hoped) that they would spring it on us during the time change..lol..oh well.

Where do you guys check for codes? I've been checking mousesavers and the special offers section on the Disney ressies page. And here of course. Is there another place to check that maybe posts the info sooner? Just wondering where you check.
