I just received an e-mail with a pin code from Disney Destinations for certain dates Jan.-June of 2009 offering 40% off select Value resorts. Maybe other codes will be here soon!!!!!

I just called to see if I could apply the code to my reserv.,but once they opened the details of the pin, we saw that it was for Florida residents only. I received the pin I guess b/c I ordered a vacation planning DVD for my mom about 6 months ago and had it sent to her address in Florida. BUMMER!!!! I'm still hoping for something that I can use before our trip comes in Feb.

you might want to try calling.... just sayin' they might be taking some adr's early... even if you have to call back a few times to get the right cm...

Yes I have all of my ADR for Feb made....I got all the places I wanted...and them some!!

I called last night and got all mine for Feb.20- 28...the woman told me they started taking reservations on Thursday for feb.23 to march 22, 2009.

I booked CR today for adecent rate 1st week of FEB. The CM assured me that when a code came out they would email me and make me aware in case it applied to my reservation. She read my email to me and it is one from 3 years ago!!!! I have corrected them about this 3 seperate times. No wonder I never get pins. I really would love a code. What is the norm for discounts for this timeof year in the past? Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone.

If i understand the way this works they will not apply anything code to your "current" ressie they will re book your ressie with the "block" that was set aside for the offer and if it has days/nights/dates still left for your wanting/new ressie .....sorry to disappoint you but i also have ressie the first week of feb and was told i would have to make new ressie if/when codes come out ....now if your talking one emailed to you then i never have had one and don't know....... if that is when they would apply to current ressie for you ......when they come out like we are all waiting for in jan/feb for discounted room/free dining/ticket upgrades that is where the "block" is set aside for only so many and new ressie needs to b made irregardless what you have current. hope this helps

I've used codes for all of my JAN/FEB trips for the past 3 years. They are usually released the last week of OCT or first week of NOV for that time of year. The codes have been a small discount on the room rate, free park hoppers, water parks, free entry into DisneyQuest. I have always booked my package first, and added the code to my ressie whenever the code came out. So far (knock wood), I have not had to re-book anything in order to get the code. I always call immediately upon finding out the code has been released, though. btw---Disney VISA holders usually get first chance at the codes, then they are released to the general public a few days later. fyi---the package i usually book is MYW + dining with park hoppers for a family of 4 (2 children under age 9), for about 6 or 7 days in parks/7 or 8 nights in hotel...I generally save a little over $300 with the discount.

I've never received a pin code via email.

I am going to watch with you all. I doubt I will get a any deals since I am going on a holiday weekend, but it's worth watching... We will be there Feb. 12-16 staying at POP.

When the free dining came out I didnt get an email until 3 days after it came out for visa lol. oh well... heres my big question??? What in the world am I going to do when my package is finalized???? I have lived and breathed this trip since January... I am going to go crazy!
