Feb 2009 code watch

Does everyone make all of their adr's for feb? I know there are certain ones that I will definately make, but can you still get into certain restaurants w/o them in Feb?

I tend to make all of my ADR's in advance. I like to have it all done. I would definetly make all you really want. You should be able to get ADR's when you get there, maybe not the ones you want.

Thanks!!! This will be our first trip so I am still kinda lost. I keep teetering between the quick service plan or the regular dining plan. I don't want us to be tied down and miss out on things we really want to do b/c of an ADR. Do you make your adr's first and plan your days around that or the other way around?

you can only make ADRs for a few resturants - chef mickeys, CRT, and the signature dinning resturants, right now. for the majority of the rest of the restuarnts we will have to wait unitl october in order to make reservations for a trip in feb due to their upgrading to an email reservation system

hello fellow alabamaian disser!! i'm here in mobile! we are also going mardi gras week. we have been during this week but it was earlier in feb. the weather is great!! you have to wear warmer clothes for night time but we would wear shorts with windbreakers during the day. i hope your luck get better! don't let it get you down, we all go thru things like that. keep planning your disney trip!

I plan out which parks we go to on which days, considering EMH days. Then once that's set, I plan ADRs into that schedule based on where we are.:yay:

That is exactly what I do. For your first trip dining can be a big part. We wanted to get to do all of the character dining and not worry about extra cost. I recommend the dining plan for all of my friends going for the first time. It just makes your trip so much less stressful. You do not feel like you are constantly reaching into your wallet for money for food and snacks. Many of the character dining experiences are not to be missed. They really add to your vacation.

My problem is they haven't put out the EMH or park hours or Fantasmic nights for Feb yet. So how do you plan the ADRs then, esp on a short, 3 full day stay?:confused3

were hoping to vacation at disney for a week with our kiddies & inlaws feb 21-march 1st while were there for a wedding in florida. so heres hoping for a great package deal or code :worship:

are there any general public codes out yet?
We are coming into orlando a day earlier and thinking about making sneaking in a stay at a WDW resort.

Hi I'm waiting too! Haven't booked my trip yet but hoping for the last week in Feb. I'll probably be going down to Fla to visit my parents during President's Week.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a good AP or GP code :)

Does anyone know how we will be notified if the code does come out? And are there only a limited number of people allowed to use the codes?

Tiffany- Keep a watch out here on the DIS- folks here are pretty good about getting the word out when there's a new 'general public' code.

Or try www.mousesavers.com - Mary's site is WONDERFUL and she also typically updates as soon as she gets word about a new code/rate.

HTH!

I'm very hopeful about codes for early Feb as there seemto be some great codes for right now..Feb should be just as slow as the times these codes are for.
