Just finished my call. I didn't get WL but did keep my PO:R ressies and saved $531 plus I get to salve my "No WL" feelings with a $200 gift card. Doin' the happy dance!

Really?? I got Presidents Day weekend in mine... I am going the week before though and told the CM that I would just pay if I had too. Anywho... January is sooner!!

I saved $400 and got the gift card and bumped up to 8 base tix instead of the 3 I had.

Now.... I will be thrilled if I never have to hear that music again that they were playing while I was on hold for 20 minutes

Okay so here's my question- If you're using the code but staying less than seven nights- say you're going to do buy four nights get ONE free- Do you still get the $200 gift card?

This promo isn't the best for me, but if I get ONE night free PLUS $200 (which is about my spending money budget) Then at least that's SOMETHING.

The other question I have is, has anyone asked about upgrading the 'buy 4 get three free' park tix to an AP?

4O minutes total on phone--most of which on hold.

I saved a couple hundred dollars on existing reservation of standard room at Poly. We got one night free and one day of park tickets free on our 5night stay plus $200 gift card.

THANK YOU Dis friends!! With state of auto industry in Michigan & the economy, I was very nervous splurging at Poly for first time. This eases my mind a bit.

I only wish we could add a few more days. We have already purchased flights and would have to pay change fees to add more days plus would have to pay extra nights of dining plan. But I am just happy to have cut our costs a bit.

I had already paid for my package with Disney Visa. There is credit now--if i choose to charge items to my room --they will use this credit amount. Otherwise, when we check out the credit balance will be refunded to my Disney VISA.

Does anyone know if you can use the $200 gift card for tips/gratuity at table service restaurants if you're on the dining plan??? If so --that would help alot.

Hmm, it might actually work after all!!! Right now we are paying $550 for our trip in February for 5 nights/6 days. If I do the package now and add just a 1 day base ticket for me, DH, and DD, plus add an extra day its only $668.79. That really isn't bad! So, I am going to just sit and think on it. We are actually going to Disney next week with my in-laws so I might just book it while we are there!

Yes it is possible- it comes right up on the quote before you actually confirm and enter in your credit card info

Now, can anyone tell me if we can use the $200 for alcohol I had asked earlier, and as I said I forgot to have my TA check on it when rebooking us. Just thought I could see if any of you know, or were able to ask a CM when making/changing your ressies. Thanks

Absolutely, in fact if you book online through disney website (walt disney travel company), the insurance option will be automatically added to package and you'll have to uncheck that box if you DON'T want it. I've never purchased it.
