Hey all just curious where to look online to see about rebate before i call our ta. thanks for any help

Hi,

Technically it's not a rebate, just a refund. It looks like they decreased the price of the taxes/govt fees by $15 (at least that was the decrease on my Category 5 booking). If you log on to the Disney cruise line page and retrieve your reservation it should show you the price on the first screen that comes up. It will show you the current price only not the old price. So you need to know what you originally paid to figure out how much the credit should be. Your TA should be able to figure it out as well.

If you want to access your reservation on line, you do have to register a user name and password to log on. It's free. Here's a link if you don't already have it.

Hi Shauna,

I think the Taxes/Govt fees decreased by $15 per person. You should definitely call either Disney or your TA to get the refund processed. For those that don't notice and ask, I'm not sure they refund the money. Like I said, this is my first Disney cruise and on other cruise lines you have to notice and ask to get the refund.

My TA contacted DCL and arranged for my $30 refund. That pays for one meal at Palo! Now if only I could find someone to pay for those other meals at Palo.....

Hi All!
Just completed the "quick, get the house cleaned up before the kids come home" cleanup and have emailed my TA and she said a reimbursement has already been issued via DCL...I also told her to charge the tips onto the card so we don't have to worry about that chunk after the cruise...just my strawberry smoothies and my hubbies Miller Lites and Tangeray and Tonics... told the girls they can have 1 smoothie a day, they are pumped! Raining miserably here in Maine...this cold has gotten the best of me, can't wait to have the warm sun in my face!!
Hows everyone doing on the FE? I told the girls we are doing it and hitting our 'FE friends' two times... spending lots of time on orientaltrading.com....

Only rule.... Have fun Give whatever you would like, candy included. I have read on other threads that people choose all ways to participate from one family gift to individual gifts for each. Some deliver once a week others a few times during the week. Some make the gifts if they are crafty others purchase items to give. Just have fun

Did I mention that we can't get a reservation for Palo? Haven't been able to for weeks. I even asked my TA to check for me...no luck. I guess that I'll check when we arrive. If still not available, I put the $$$ towards something else like a massage - they're about the same price
I hadn't heard about the price drop. I'm sure my TA will be thrilled to hear from me again. Any suggestions on what gift to give her? Something from the Caribbean?
We got so much rain yesterday that there is grass showing. This is wrong in so many ways

Thank the Big man above for putting that rain behind us!! One dark and stormy day and just shove me in a cave like a bear...boy- I soooooooo have SAD- posted on the main page a query about drinks..someone said smoothies were just under 4$- how sad is it when I am like- Whoo Hoo!
Think I am going to get some leis for all of us at the meet, which we can force our hubbies to wear for the rest of the day- then we can spot each other around the ship

Mine claims to dislike people and be very shy. Don't let that fool you! He managed to get to age 60 and still be a kid at heart. We've been married 37 years. I think I'll keep him.

I frequently remind Jim how absolutely lucky he has that I have kept him around all these years! Of course, I suspect he tells his co-workers the same about me!

Hoping to get some more participants for the FE exchange. I figured we could extend until 1/30/2010 just in case some people have not gotten their room assigments yet. Congrats on 37! We are celebrating 20 next month. I think I will mention it on our ressie. I don't know---maybe not. Don't want too much attention.... And, sorry Shauna, but there is no way my hubby will wear a lei! I will be lucky to get my family to the meet. But go for it--sounds like a great idea.
