Rather than a full-sized trip report, I'm just going to mention a few things that stood out. We were a 17 person group of 5 families travelling together, with kids ranging from 2 to 13.

Our server team(Ronald, Pirom, Kerri-Lin) was fantastic. The lengths our head server went to in order to find food that the picky 9 year old boy would eat were astounding. The food was good, but not outstanding, except for Palos.

None of the kids in our group liked the Oceaneers activities. They all felt it was far too structured and too much like being in school with no free play time.

The snorkeling at the family beach at CC was poor. At 10:30 in the morning the water was too murky to see much. Snorkeling at the adult beach was much , much better.

The Pirates IN the Caribbean party and fireworks was great fun.

The regatta on St. Martin was fun, but I doubt I'd do it again. The Kayak Marine Sanctuary Tour on St. Thomas, on the other hand, was fantastic.

The stage shows were great, including the variety shows. The band, "High Frequency", was awful. They were very nice people, but played what was quite possibly the very worst Guns and Roses cover I've ever heard in my life. Pretty much every time they came on, we left the clubs.

It was tough to find a place for us adults to gather to sit and chat, other than up on deck. All the night clubs were either too loud or too smokey, or both, to sit and have a conversation after the kids had gone to sleep. We ended up at the Promanade Lounge after it was technically closed in order to have somewhere to chat.

That is everything that was on the top of my head to remember to post. Any questions?

THANKS FOR SHARING!!!!

WE WERE IN DISNEY WORLD FEB 19 THRU THE 26TH, AND HAD GREAT WEATHER, HOW WAS YOURS?

HOW WERE YOUR ROOMS? WHICH CAT WERE YOU IN? WAS YOUR GROUP ALL IN THE SAME CAT?

THANKS AGAIN

Hi Trish...we were on the same cruise as you guys!

I think I remember your table...were you along the wall in the back of the room at Animator's Palate, right in the middle? If so, I remember there being an absolutely adorable little boy with the loudest set of pipes I ever heard, and I loved hearing him because this little child, all he did was SMILE!!!

We were directly in front of the middle of your table you. I was the big guy at the end of my 8 person table.

I had 6 kids with me and between the 6 of them, three of them spent maybe one hour each in the Oceaneer's Clubs. And THAT was for some sort of competition on the basketball court.

I agree with you also on meeting in the Promenade Lounge. Aside from the Cove Cafe, it just may have been the quietest place to just sit, drink and talk. And I couldn''t stay in the Cove Cafe for long because the smoking part of the lounge was right outside the front door of the Cafe.

Yup, that was us. Daniel was exceedingly loud, but it was hard to get annoyed with him because he was so happy! It was so nice to be able to eat nice food in a nice setting and not have all the other customers mad because a two year old was acting his age. :)

Weather was very pleasant, especially compared to typical New Hampshire February weather. We had two families in cat 6, and three in cat 11. The catagory 11 rooms were just as nice as the cat 6, but next time I'm getting a veranda. I was so envious of those who could see where we were and what the weather was like, without having to get up and dressed first.

Were you Castaway Club members, and if so, what was the return cruising gift in your stateroom? I have heard rumors that it is no longer the beach towel.

Thanks.

Linda

Agreed. He was adorable, especially during the final night when he decided to provide a lot of a capella during the appetizer! I was getting such a kick out of it!

We had Ronald several weeks ago on our cruise. He was super ( and kinda cute!!). He was so wonderful with our children...magic tricks and dancing with them. He saw that our son only ate the grapes and oranges out of his fruit bowl and from then on he had a bowl of peeled and cut up oranges and grapes waiting on the table when we arrived each evening. Jira was our asst. server. HE was great also....the kids loved it when he would pour their ketchup in the shape of Mickey Mouse!!
