Ok I think the FE list is closed for good! Now we need to choose delivery days--I have started a new column on the spreadsheet, and added in my selected day. I am happy to start off with the first day we board--it would be super helpful if folks can plan to have their extenders hung and ready to be filled by 5:15 or so. I am hoping to make deliveries between the muster drill and heading to dinner (we have Main seating).

I figure the rest of the days can be chosen first come first served, but let's try to have at least 1 family delivering on each day except for the last morning (Sun/Mon/Tues/Weds/Thurs).

Getting excited as the snow and temps continue to fall here in SE Michigan!

here is a cheat sheet for the rooms involved in the FE exchange. I will have a whiteboard on my door (5022) so if you are in the FE exchange and your room changes at Check-in, please update your info on my door ASAP (with disboards name, previous room, and current room).

Hi Gang!
My Mom and I just booked this cruise 2 days ago. It will be the 5th DCL cruise for me and my 6 yr old ds and her 1st DCL cruise. We are so excited!! Just sad that we won't participate in the FE because we are only 2 weeks out. I think my Mom really want to do it. I've done it for all our other cruises. We will definitely decorate our door though.

Hey all - I already asked this question once but didn't get a response - does anyone normally plan any sort of on-board DIS-meet? I know many of you are doing the FE thing (we are not) but that still doesn't really give a chance to see eachother's faces. Just curious - if you don't have a meet-up, how do you know a fellow DISer on the cruise?

On previous cruises we've done meet ups on the 'secret deck' which is on deck 7 Aft (all the way to the very end of the hall on Deck 7, very back of the ship). I think we'd meet around 3 or 3:30, before the muster drill. Any interest in that for this cruise?

Yes, I would be very interested in an early meet-up, just to recognize some faces throughout the trip. Either time is fine with us, we don't really have a clue what to expect on board, but have a fairly early boarding time.

We have a room #! 2528. If anyone has any extra FE gifts to share let me know and I will bring something for you too. I know it's late in the game and we only booked our cruise 6 days ago so we were too late to meet the FE cutoff. My Mom was looking forward to participating so I am going to bring some extra goodies to surprise her and my 6 yr old son.

We're not getting touched by the snow in Buffalo, so hopefully there won't be any issues getting the plane here to pick us up. They lowered the forecast for the weekend: 15 degrees for a high on Saturday. I really don't mind the cold much, but I'll enjoy leaving this behind.

I think the Detroit airport will be fine tomorrow as well--just worried that the plane I'm supposed to get on won't make it in due to weather on East Coast. I don't think the knot in my stomach will loosen until we reach 10,000 feet on Saturday!

Thursday flight was canceled Wednesday night. So we gabbed a rental car to get to BWI to meet connection not there 5 hrs when that flight was canceled too!!! Got yet another rental car. Arrived in fl this morning. I'm tired but weather is fantastic!!!!
