Hi, Anyone flying out of Providence Wednesday night?? We have booked the last flight of the night 8:55pm and I am worried about the SNOW canceling our flight. Anybody leaving anytime on Wednesday??? Joan

I'm nearly in the same boat.

Flying out of Boston at 8am on Weds the 14th.

The predictions are still all over the map. I just spent about 30 minutes on hold with Delta, and they're still saying our flight is on time. We'll see.

I think we'll all know MUCH more tomorrow, and you might be able to get out tomorrow.

We are actually leaving today (Tuesday) out of Logan so we should miss the storm.

Have you considered seeing if you can get out earlier? We had to fly to Florida last week last minute (mil had a stroke) and wound up switching our flights on the return. Luckily we were on JetBlue and they only charged a $25 per person fee. I thought that was pretty good....since I was expecting like a $100 fee. May be worth calling the airline to see if that is possible.

There are always cheap hotels in Orlando you could get for a night.

I'll be thinking of you guys tomorrow!!! Hope you all get out safely and sort of on time. I think PVD has had better luck staying open in bad weather, but this time it looks like they may be getting it worse than Boston! Safe, and timely, travel to you both!!!

Joan, I'm from Johnston and the latest local weather calls for a total of 3-5 inches. It's supposed to start after midnight tonight, but during the day tomorrow it's supposed to turn to rain. Hopefully you'll be fine.

Hi, THANK YOU for all the speedy replies! I am waiting to see if SW posts a TRAVEL ADVISORY for PVD. If so I will try to fly out tomorrow morning. Then I would just have to alter my Rental Car date or try to take Magical Express and then go back to the airport to get a car??? Anybody ever done this??? This is because my rental starts 12:01 am on the 15th of Feb. Joan

I don't think you will have a problem getting out. And you don't have to go back to the airport to rent a car, they are all over WDW, but you may want to make a reservation in advance . You will get the best price that way.
