Who is linked to the late dining group and has young kids?

I told my 6 yr old that this cruise we would be having dinner with a large group and she wanted to know if there would be any kids her age. I can't remember who is late dining and the ages of any kids.

P.S.S. I agree about the local food thing. I get a cheesesteak every time I go to Philly, and I get Pizza and Bagels every time I go to NY. Also, I grew up in Annapolis, MD so spent my summers in Ocean City, MD. I do admit I used to prefer OC in MD over NJ. But, as an adult, all of our beach trips are to Destin, FL. If you've never been, I highly recommend it.

We're linked for late dining, but my son is only 3. We'll probably use the O'Club for some or most of the dinner.
You're right--Destin is great. We go at least 3 times a year.

I was told yesterday that I am booked on a space available rate and I may not have a cabin assignment until we get to the port. I hope I get my cruise docs soon, that is how I am suprising my kids with the trip.

NO Cruise DOCS or Cabin Assignment here either!
I called DCL yesterday and when the Answered they said "Stalker is that you" They did say that MAYBE we would have an assignment by today, and that docs most likely would be mailed this weekend!

Have I mentioned that I HATE waiting!

We will be at WDW (Boardwalk) on Friday - arriving early afternoon. How are you getting to the port on Saturday morning?

What do you do for work that you were traveling to Australia? Exciting!

Hey Karen,

Yeah we arrive Wednesday at Animal Kingdom.
We stay at the Beach Club most of the time and love that area, but I wanted to see some animals and try the new pool and areas at AK this time.
I have not stayed at Boardwalk yet, but have been in that hotel and love that side.

We are driving down. It takes us seven hours so it's pretty quick and then it takes about one hour to get to the port and we park there at the parking garage.

I do the grand slam tennis events web sites, so Aus Open, Wimbledon, Roland Garros, US Open, as well as several golf events, USGA - US Open, Masters, Evian.

So I work on getting the websites and mobile sites ready for these and then travel to them to set up scoring, video, publishing, hosting, etc. My backup came so I got to to leave Aus Open early, and travel around Australia for a little bit this year and then fly back home.

I haven't been stalking quite as much as Barb but if I have occasion to call on behalf of a client, I check. Yesterday I had a wonderful CM and we discussed that we really need connecting staterooms. She spent some time reading over the notes on the reservation. I am not getting my hopes up but hopefully they will note things accordingly but she did say that she thought the docs would go out this weekend as well, and would be surprised if we didn't have an assignment by then. Who knows?? Most of the others have all told me we will be assigned at check in.

Kim, I am on late dining but haven't had a chance to link the reservations. My kids are DD15, DD12, DS9 and DS7.

Wow all of this chatting about food makes me REALLY want a Philly cheesesteak and pretzel, a NY Bagel and Bialy and OC MD fries and popcorn. My DH grew up going to OC NJ while I was used to OC MD. Our arguments about which is better are rather amusing.

So excited....but lots to do. I need to start packing and running errands. Since we are surprising my DD (she thinks we are going to WDW for the weekend) I have to sneak her dresses into the suitcase. She is going to be on cloud 9!!!!

Hi Steve and welcome back home! I to am wide awake @ 2:24a....what the heck is up with that???

My husband will be the other guy walking around the ship with our daughter during the Ladies Lunch!!! Our daughter Jen is 21 and is my DH's "baby girl" she is a special needs gal and a really daddy's girl to boot so I am sure I will not be missed! You and John (my DH) should plan a Dad's lunch on Deck 9 complete with Pizza and maybe a tall beer

Can't wait to get packing for the cruise .....2 weeks from today we will be on the road driving from Central Virginia to Florida!

I think you should get a bunch of little notes with clues on the them and hide them around the house where you know she will find them. Each clue has a little more info BUT not enough info that should would figure out what is going on. Of course you need to keep the last and final clue. You could make a scavenger hunt sort of thing.

Now that you have made me VERY hungry....yes sausage w/peppers and onions on a hoagie roll and fresh lemon aid while sitting on the board walk watching the "rolling chairs" or boardwalk tram! Those where the days.
