Feb.13th(lucky for some) 2010 Eastern Valentines Cruise - The Love Boat Sails Again !

I posted a thread asking about other cruise meets on board and where they took place. Most everyone has recommended the Promenade Lounge at 3 p.m. Does that sound okay to everyone?

We can update any last minute cabin changes and meet each other 'in person'.

Sounds good to me, too. That is what we have done in the past and it worked well. Plenty of room even if several other groups are meeting there also, which is likely.

Hi there. We just booked. Very excited. This trip is for my daughter's 5th Birthday. She doesn't know it yet. Ever since we cruised she keeps asking to go. We would also be interested in the FE. We haven't done it before, but I think the girls would like it. Do you pass out things one time, every day or just whatever you want to do? Look forward to "meeting" everyone over the next month and a half.

I'll put you on the FE list. Do you know what cabin you'll be in yet?

So far, I think we are going to do the FE's on any day that you wish. You can choose just one day or do two or more depending on the type of gift(s) you want to bring. From reading other threads snacks, magnets, gifts specific from your area, just about anything is great to add to an FE! You can choose to be anonymous or put your name on the item, whichever you choose. I've still got to buy/make our FE - something I'll tackle over Christmas break, I think.

If anyone feels any different just say so!

I would love for my daughter to get to meet someone on the first day and hang out with them over the week. Off to find some magnet designs, I mean work.

My DS will be celebrating his 12th birthday on the cruise and I remember reading on the thread that others are also celebrating b'days as well. Lot's of fun ahead!!! I'll be looking for magnet designs right after Christmas.

UGH! A not so Merry Christmas to us from Delta Airlines ! I got an e-mail today saying they changed our 1:50 pm flight out of Orlando to a 10:51 am flight. I called to say that's too early, we can't make it, etc. and the not-so-lovely-lady said "Well, I'm sorry, as you must know, that is a very busy travel weekend and it's all we have". So, now I will have to worry about getting there on Friday (will it snow???) AND making it to the airport in time after the cruise!

They need to put you on flight #1516 that leaves at 3:10 p.m. MCO-BOS. (If you aren't going to BOS, let me know and I'll look up where you need to go). Call back and tell them you are on a cruise and cannot make it to MCO at that time. You didn't make the schedule change therefore they must help accommodate you. DON'T stop until you get someone that will help you... ask for a supervisor, etc.

I 2nd planejoy1 advice

Call Delta speak to an agent that will put you on a different later flight. I have done this MANY times when Delta has changed my time!!!
