Feb 04 Deluxe resort

We are considering taking another trip next Feb. This time we definately want to stay on site. We perfer AKL.

If you went in Feb of this year, please share the hotel costs and what type of room you stayed in and whether or not you used a discount code.

We REALLY want to stay in Sav View/Concierge but we are not sure if we can afford it.

If you stayed in another deluxe resort during this timeframe please share those as well...

Do you plan on going the first half of February, or after Presidents week...
Value season is still going on during the beginning of February. Right before Presidents Day (usually the friday before) begins Peak season....
huge difference, the rates go way up, and the discounts are usually less of a percentage.

If you can go during value season, the discounts should be atleast 30% - 40% and the crowds will be less also!

We stayed AKL concierge 2/9-2/15 (value season) and paid $277/night with the AP discount.

I stayed at WL Feb. 8 -14. We booked a standard view room with a code I think we paid around $124 /nite. We were upgraded to a woodsview room at check in for free. It was a very nice time to go. There were no lines anywhere and we easily got priority seating everywhere we wanted to go.

We just returned from the Poly 2/12-2/18. We had to check in by the 12th to get value rate. On the 13th the resort went from value to peak.

AP plus value rate the roon cost 199.67 a night (this included taxes). We got a garden view room that over looked the quite pool.

We loved this resort, it was so kid-friendly and offered so much. Just being on the monorail line was worth the extra money. Looking forward to returning next year.

We never waited more then 5 minutes for transportation. When we went to MGM or AK we would walk to the TTC, maybe a 10 minute walk. Again we never waited more then 5 minutes.

I would be curious to hear what people had to pay during Feb. "peak" season as my family will be going the week after Pres. Day week next year.

We stayed at the AKL Concierge in a Deluxe Savanna view room from Feb 1st through the 6th of 2003. It was our best trip to WDW. Not that any of our trips have been bad but in degrees of goodness (is that a word? ) this was our best trip. We definetly will go back to WDW during the end of Jan begining of Feb time frame again. We paid $277 a night inc tax with an AP Discount for our room. We will be at the YC for 10days in Sept but are hoping to be back at the AKL Concierge during the last week Jan 2004.
