Featherbed Mattress

WE loved it and we loved our down comforter. But then we developed allergies and had to switch to artificial everything.

I have had one for two years. it took me awhile to get used to it--at first it seemed lumpy. But now I look forward to hitting those puffy sheets. The trick is to keepp that thing plumped up at least once a week. Not a problem if you change your sheets regularly, just fluff up the feather bed. Now when we go on vacation, my featherbed is what I miss most

I love my feather bed! It's so cozy! The only problem I've had with it is that you usually need the extra deep sheets to fit it.

I thought that you laid it on top of the sheets?

I really hate feathers pricking me in the butt while I'm sleeping, so what i did with mine is

fitted sheet, feather bed, comforter, deep pocket fitted sheet, flat sheet, comforter. This way no feathers poke me.

Mine is an expensive one from JC Penney's, and it still poked me

I change my sheets weekly, and when I do i flip it over

I thought that you laid it on top of the sheets?

I put mine under the sheet so the pin feathers don't stick me.

We have two feather beds and a memory foam mattress on our bed. It's like sleeping on a cloud. We put the feather beds under the memory foam and that way we don't get the feather pricks. Our bed is the reason for us to come home from vacation. It's the most comfortable bed in the world.
