Feasible Plan? HS to MK

Hi, I'm going in October and would ideally like to spend one of my days in HS, watch Fantasmic, then catch a bus over to MK for MSEP and Wishes. Fantasmic starts at 7:30pm, MSEP at 9pm. I've never been to WDW before so I'm not sure how bad the crowd/traffic would be. Would this be feasible? Thanks in advance!
