FEA, Soarin' and TT in the same morning

Anyone want to hazard a guess as to what the best strategy will be to accomplish this with a 6-7 person group without using single rider line at TT?

Well, assuming they are all Tier 1 FP attractions, I'd FP Frozen for late in the morning; do Test Track at rope drop; and then head straight to Soarin' for standby. With the addition of the 3rd theater as well as FEA taking away some people, *maybe* the Soarin' stand-by waits won't be unreasonable. I'm thinking that Soarin' might even be available as a 4th FP some days...but probably not for a morning time slot. It looks like you're not going until Fall, so you should have plenty of time to see how the whole TT/FEA/Soarin' thing works out for other people before you have to schedule your FPs.

I think it is unlikely you will be able to get Soarin or TT as a 4th FP for that many people. I think you are going to run into a long wait at one of these attractions unless you can save one for right at closing or use Single Rider at TT.

Really, if you rope drop one, FP+ one, and standby one, it should work out pretty well. I'd probably try to FP Frozen since it will likely be the busiest. Then I would RD Soarin' because it's closer to the front and will also have the new movie so might be more popular than Test Track. TT has a reasonably fast moving line, though the third theater for Soarin' could make that line move much faster.

Rope drop Soarin. FP TTrack from 930-1030. Go straight to front of WS and position yourself to "rope drop" FEA's 11:00 opening.

I totally hadn't thought that FEA wouldn't open until 11. My bet is there will be a queue (mob?) of people at the front of WS that will stampede over to it as soon as it is opened. It'll be interesting to see how this is handled.

I think there is no chance they will delay opening those attractions until 11. Even when the sisters were meeting there before they had already changed over to a 9 AM opening for them.

I think Test Track is going to go Tier 2. I can't believe they would make all three of the rides Tier 1.

What about those super early breakfasts? I've only done one at Magic Kingdom, but could Akershus or Garden Grill position you better for Soarin' or the new Frozen ride (if they do open it at 9am instead of 11am)?

I've been wondering how this will work if the following are all tier 1:

Frozen Ever After
Anna/Elsa meet & greet
Test Track
Soarin'

In Hollywood Studios, at least Tower of Terror and Star Tours are tier 2. Other than Spaceship Earth in Epcot, there's really no tier 2 options worth booking.

FP+ Test Track for say 9:30 - 10:30. Get to the park early, line up for rope drop, and beeline for Soarin'. It should be a pretty short wait at Rope Drop, head from that straight to Test Track, and use your FP+, then immediately head for World Showcase, as soon as you can get in, head for Norway, and do Frozen Ever After standby, again, the wait shouldn't be too bad as long as you get into World Showcase as soon as it opens.

Rope Drop Soarin
Single Rider TT
FP Frozen

At least that's our plan
On 2nd Epcot day we will FP the M&G instead of the ride, at least a few times, or till DGD no longer cares to meet them

Thing is, what if Norway opens at 9:00? It's possible, probable even

Anything is possible but I sure wouldn't bet on it.
When Malestrom was open they had Soarin', TT and it as Tier 1
Can't see that changing now.
What I do see changing is moving Living with the Land to Tier 2, since they will no longer need it for a non-height restricted Tier 1 ride

Well then, that plan goes down the poop shoot.

In that event, I would say FP+ Soarin' for that 9:30 - 10:30 time frame, hot foot it to FEA as soon as the rope drops, do that stand by, ride Soarin' with FP+, and then use the single rider line for Test Track, or just deal with stand by, which probably won't be more than 40 minutes at that point (just a guess)

I think I like the idea of RP Soarin, FP+ FEA and then doing single rider for Test Track. At least half of my party won't do Test Track, and since I am not afraid of TT lol, my DH, sister and I don't mind getting split up (is there still a possibility some of us may end up riding together?).

My question now is, in between all of this, how do you fit in the M&G with Baymax and Joy and Sadness? These M&G are high priority (not highest, but high) for us, but I anticipate their lines will still be long even after (or more so) Frozen stuff is open. I was saying to FP+ FEA until after lunch, so that way we should have enough time after Soarin' and TT to wait on these two M&Gs. What is you guys' opinions on this?

Even if we have to do TT on our way out of the park that night, to me its not a big issue, although I think with Single Rider we should be OK.

I would FP FEA, Rope drop test track, then head to soarin. adding the 3rd screen at soarin, as well as the opening of FEA and its capacity being so much HIGHER than test track, i think this is the most efficient way to do all 3, but then again, theres absolutely nothing wrong with waiting in line 20- 30 minutes for a ride. Thats actually standard practice everywhere but disney. :) Have fun!
