FE gifts any ideas?

I was looking for some ideas on things to put in the fish extender. And about how many things do I need to get/make??

I found Pirate Tatoo's in the Current sale catalog-30 tatoos for $2.00 or something like that. I found Disney stickers in packs of 100 at the Dollar Store. You can always bring Tootsie Pops or Smarties which are easy to deliver into the FE's! You can make little goodie bags to pass out with all of the smaller items together!

As for how many, check your cruise Meet and see how many kids (or big Kids) will be coming and participating. That will give you a general idea.

Whatever you find will be greatly appreciated!

It really depends on your particular meet thread as to how many you bring. Some people deliver 1 per person, 1 per family, or kids only.

Some of the nicest ones we received were little baggies with various stickers, candy, tatoos, etc. But the number you need to get depends on your budget and the system your disgroup decides to implement. Sometimes you are assigned a day; sometimes, you can deliver every day; or sometimes it's a free-for-all and you can deliver anytime and however much you feel like it. I personally like the latter, but it can result in completely empty FEs or overflowing FEs depending on what everyone else decides.

Really depends on the size of your group and as the other poster said if you are delivering one per family or per person or just the kids. There were not that many of us and I just did those little glow sticks for each kid on one of our cruises. If in a resonable budget, I think it is nice to do something from your home state/city to give to each family as a way to remember you. The FE thing really did start as a Secret Santa and Trick or Treat thing among DISers and took off from that. It now is getting waaaay big and can be a bit stressful. So, do what you can and do not wig out. Know it is a DIS thing, not a cruise thing. With larger groups, I also feel bad in that it can be a little bit of a hasel to keep up with all of the rooms, especially when some do not find out about up-grades until getting to port. It can be fun if do not let it stress you out....

I WAS going to dribble stuff one item at a time but then our group went for the assigned day plan...and since I already had a small collection of items I decided to make little gift bags and be done on my one day. We have 11 families / cabins participating. I got the bags at Michaels & decorated them. I have 6 items per bag / FE gift. I made frig. magnets that I designed & made myself (bought a box of business card magnets at Staples & printed my design on business cards - then laminated them before putting them on the magnets). I also designed & ordered luggage tags from Shutterfly (that was my one big splurge) and I picked up ballpoint pens for like $2 ea. at a local city event in the spring (the National Cherry Blossom Festival). I also found these little "magic towels" at my local Disney store that were like 3 for $5. Stuff like that.

We gave out some pirate candy, pirate ducks and some tattoos (princesses for the girls, pirates for the boys). We did it per person (as best we could - so apologies if we missed someone!)

I love Oriental Trading for stuff like that!

Ours was just a give stuff out whenever FE thing. We went round on Pirate night and did ours. It was great fun wandering all over the ship looking for FE's - good excuse to explore other areas. (Good exercise as well!!!)

All I say, is don't let it stress you out. Its supposed to be fun

i made business cards (from office depot) with a picture of the ship and the dates attached them to business card magnets...put them in an organza bags I got at the dollar store with some seashells...viola!

Be sure to check out the $1.00 section of your local Target Store. They ALWAYS have Disney related items.
