FD? During Veteran's Week?

Looking at the historical discounts, FD "appears" to go through all Nov, but I know Thanksgiving is not really included, but how about Veteran's week?

We were going Thanksgiving to Dec 3, but now that none of our kids are going, I think I would have guilt if I was not home for the holiday, so may switch to Veteran's week. I think the only thing decoration-wise we would miss would be Candlelight Processional, if I am not mistaken.

I'm not sure of the answer, but around that time is also Jersey week and I think discounts are fewer then as well.

Last year there was a public FD offer if you checked in from Oct 18-Nov 2 and Nov 11-Nov 23.

Epcot activities don't start until the day after Thanksgiving so you'll miss Candlelight Processional, the Holiday Storytellers and the holiday finale to IllumiNations. Also, not all the resorts will be decorated because that occurs over the course of the month.

We went that week but we had to arrive the day before so we did a room only reservation on the 10th then started the fd on the 11th. Most of the Christmas decorations were up and we got to see the Osborne Christmas decorations for the first time. Crowds were good and the weather was great. (only one day was windy and cool)

Thanks for all the replies! I just wish there was a way to check air for that time-frame, but SW & JetBlue don't book that far out
