FD and Split Stay

I'm wondering if it's possible to do a split stay during the FD promotion. If it is, must the check in date at the second resort also fall within the FD dates?

Yes, both check in dates would have to be during the FD promotion. Also because Disney considers this to be 2 separate reservations you would have purchase 2 day tickets for everyone in the room and stay a minimum of 3 nights for each reservation.
