I thought I read that you can only use 1 ticket toward an ap renewal. Does the 2 day tic you must buy to get FD count as a single ticket(meaning approx $160) will go to my renewal next yr? Or is only 1 day applied and I get a 1 day left over? We have never done a FD promo before and need to give DH the right info.

You should be fine using the 2-day ticket to upgrade, it counts as a single pass. Whatever Disney is charging right now for a two-day base ticket is what you'll receive for credit toward your renewal.

If Disney raises ticket prices before you use the 2-day pass to upgrade use the pass for admission to a theme park and THEN upgrade it to the renewal (within 14 days) and you will receive the current value of a 2-day pass at that time, regardless of if you paid less for it originally.

We have 1 day passes which we never used from our last trip. We were hope to upgrade them to 10 day next time when we go. Will we pay the difference to what the 1 day passes were from when we first brought them to the current rate?

Here's the dealie..

If you use the 1 day ticket first .. walk in the gates and immediately go to Guest Relations in the park.. you will get the credit of the value of a CURRENT 1 Day pass and pay the difference to a current 10 day pass.

If you don't use the ticket first... you will get the credit of what you paid last year or whenever and pay the difference to a current 10 day pass.

Obviously.. the first way saves you a few more bucks.

Thanks for the info. Last thing I want is to pay for tix that I won't use.
