FCC Questions

I had a cruise booked last August that I used my FCC to rebook for this August. I doubt that this August will go but even if it does I have zero interest in going on one of the first sailings or dealing with the restrictions. So with that I have a bunch of questions I was hoping for your expertise with...

1. If I cancel this August cruise, can I still have my FCC held as a placeholder booking? Or do I lose it because I cancelled it?
2. The 5th person who was on our reservation will no longer be coming. Can we hold a 5th person to our reservation with the FCC or is the FCC attached to that specific person and we would lose that portion?
3. We are interested in trying to book the Wish, are there blackout dates for the Wish with using FCC?
4. We were working with a travel agent for the cruise that got canceled. So is the only way to use our FCC to go through our travel agent, or is it attached to my account and I can make my own booking and use it? I am a Gold Member and want to book the Wish ASAP on my day but my travel agent is not always very quick with communication and getting things done (but gives great obc!).

Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong, this is what I think...

1. I think you have to "change" cruises vs cancelling. So you could switch to a different sailing before 9/30/22 and keep the FCC.

2. The FCC is attached to that person and can't be used on anyone else. They could use it on a separate cruise by 9/30/22...no idea if they can be refunded their original amount of not...

3. No idea as they haven't given blackout dates yet, other than the Maiden Voyage is blocked from any kind of discount.

4. It was attached to your account (now it's attached to that cruise you want to cancel.) If you're "switching" cruises booked thru a TA, they would have to be the one to do that (and they will likely have to call vs booking online.)

Thank you - much of this was my assumed answers but I wasn’t positive.

Yes, "change" cruises. We have an FCC from summer 2020. Our 2nd cruise for summer 2021 used the FCC and got canceled (9 night). We moved that to another summer 2021 (7 night). When summer 2022 came out, we moved it again and have kept the FCC the whole time.
