Fay Updates on the DIS

Now we just wait and see what happens.

Current projections put it over central Florida as a weaker storm - but it's still way too early to tell what will happen.

Stay safe, guys. Oh, and if you do get on TV afterwards describing the storm, make sure your teeth are in and your shirt is on. ;)

My prayers are with you and all in the Storm's path to be safe and get through this without any problems.

Y'all want to to see one of us with that yellow rain slicker pasted to the side of our face while we clutch a tree to keep from being blown away, doncha?

Take care down there! Hopefully, it will lose alot of steam before reaching your area.

Wow..it's like you read my mind!:rotfl:

With a microphone and a camera telling us just how windy and rainy it isout there!;)

They say this one is "Comin' right for us".....I would say they say that all the time but the last time they said that was Charley...which, of course did NOT come right for us.

This will be no Charley, I think. Even so...Publix is nuts...Wal Mart looks like a war zone...I'm not even going near a Home Depot...:sad2: It could be yucky here, coming from the south might push the storm surge into the bay.

Not only should Pete record a show,I think there should be a Hurricane Podcast Cruise Giveaway Blowout! (please don't hurt me John!)

Everyone in Fay's path....take care.....

stay safe guys!!!!!

So my brother in law just called last night reminding us that he and his family are scheduled to arrive at WDW on Tuesday. I forgot, and I had been helping them plan their trip for months. They are all panicked about the storm. I told them to be prepared for lots of rain. Hopefully they'll be OK, and hopefully their flights on Tuesday will be fine.

For those in Fay's path: stay safe. You're all in my thoughts! :grouphug:

All official like on the weather channel. I guess you have to have my mental image like that crazy guy who is always outside in the rain being blown down the street.

Just stay safe. Keep us updated.

Kevin and John,

You know if a TV crew comes by that you will have curlers in your hair while wearing an old housecoat: "It was PANDEMONIUM! The trailer started shaking and I was scared toothless!" :lmao:

My bro lives nearby so I get hourly reports about the impending hurricane. All of you take care and know that we would be right there on TV with you.

That's funny news reporters always know who will get on camera, and from my experience in the news business there are a certain type of folks who really don't care of bad they look, and will always get on TV, but it makes our job easy because some people like myself have pride and would never get on TV with rollers in my hair ( Pete I know why would I have rollers in my hair just work with me here I'm making a point) are if my dentures had been blow away in the storm not getting on national TV toothless. Yes it's that breed of folks that I see on TV after one comes through Florida that help me know MS. is not the home to the rednecks, but that they make there home in every state of the union even the Sunshine State.

Good Lucy I will pray for you.

"Kevin" Thank you IWISHFORDISNEY, we are here in WDW resort and I am in awe, I never realized till now just how realistic Twister at Universal Studios really is !" as a plastic shinny cow flies by on a string!

Looks like you are going to be on the east side of is you should be ok

The east side is actually usually the worst side to be on. But if it goes on land at the southern tip of FL but the time it reaches the Orlando area it should have lost a lot of its steam.

But John you know shortly we will see those people on the news that didn't prepare and they are complaining. :(

I did the same thing here. That way I am prepared if anything should develop.

True, every storm there are those who wait till the last possible moment to run out and get batteries and supplies. Then they complain when they can't find what they need or they're ill prepared.

So glad you're all hunkered down safely.

Hope your hurricane party turns into a pudding party. After the storm blows over and you're left with gallons of emergency milk. You make pudding and have another party.

Thank you for keeping us posted. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

off topic, but does Fay mean that a big storm/hurricane is more or less or equally likely again thisyear?
Have got visions of our October 28th wedding being stormed out!!!

:goodvibes
