Faxing Room Requests and WL?

Does the Wilderness Lodge accept room request faxes a few days before arrival? We had done it at the Contemporary before, but I thought I had read previously that the WL doesn't do it? Anyone know?

I'm also looking for tips on what to request. From what I've read here, it seems like the Roaring Forks side (which I believe is the North side), is what we would like. We have a Wood's View room.

Almost all resorts have stopped accepting faxes.

WL does not accept faxes. They were the first resort to stop accepting them.

We requested No smoking, bunk beds, and our group together. WE got everything we wanted. We had three rooms and were actually upgraded to courtyard view for all 3 rooms! We simply made our request with CRO.

We always list our request at WL in order of importance on our reservations with CRO, and we've always been pleased.

Well I made our requests with CRO and I just faxed as well - I guess we'll see!

I figured what the heck - why not fax, if they ignore it, so be it, but you never know. When I faxed last year to POFQ we received everything we wanted, it was great.
