Faxing request to Pop worked....again!

Regardless of all the "faxing doesnt work" threads, I just got back from 10 nights at Pop in a room I requested...on top of that...it was 2 connecting rooms!

Fax away, I say!

Last Dec. we got exactly where we requested on our reservation and did not fax it also so I'm not sure if we have proven that the fax is necessary. But I guess it never hurts.

Arent you one of the people that say faxes dont work.

There is no place online that lets you put in specific room numbers..I did that with the fax and it worked great. Ive also heard people ask for connecting rooms with their "requests" and not get em.

Also, Ive faxed my last 3 times and succeeded everytime, so why would I need to put in a "request"?...if it aint broke, dont fix it.

Edited to add....while waiting in line to check in, a guy came down to argue with the people saying he hated his room...he said he "requested" a first floor room facing the pool and he got a 2nd floor room facing the parking lot....I guess he shouldve faxed it!

Connecting rooms depend on availability. It isn't whether or not you send a fax.

Well they looked at mine...I'll bet there are some CM's that say they dont look at requests either.

I have been told to do both and if I go again and wait a certain area, I will do both most likely. That way they are reminded and know that this is what you really want. Plus I was told alot of times you may put a request in with the resevation, but it never makes it into the reservation for them to see.

Faxes must be looked at since every time my daughter has faxed a request that was not on the reservations we have received. We are just getting together all the requests for our visit in 2 weeks and hopefully it will work again. I don't think any reasonable request would go unfounded. It's really no big deal to fax a request and even if you get just one of the requests isn't it worth it? Happy planning!!

Would you come back and let us know if doesn't work. While it worked for you, if what you want is not available no fax is going to help.

Your post implies that faxing guarantees your request and it doesn't. You got lucky.

Did you stay at Pop each time? Because some resorts will not accept them.

I wont be going again until next year, so you'll have to wait a while for the answer, but odds are that I'll get it again...never bet against a streak!

I stayed at Pop all 3 times.
