Fax request for room?

In past when we went to ASMo I was able to fax a request before we went and asked for a certain section.. Do they still allow this and if so do they try to accomodate?

Most resorts are not looking at faxes anymore. If you have your requests noted in your reservation that is all you have to do.

If it helps, the Disney Vacation Club management told us that for the DVC resorts that all they look at for room requets is what's on the reservation, don't call or fax room requets since they're not used.
