Fax problems

HELP!

My computer has been attempting to send the Site Assigner Fax for the last half hour, and the line has been continuously busy!

Is this normal?
Am I using the right number? 407-824-3508



Any suggestions?

(I wrote the letter in Word, and am trying to fax it directly off of the computer via the phone line. (if that makes sense) Would it work better to print a hard copy and try to send the fax the "old fashioned" way?)

You have the correct fax number. I always use a plain old fax machine, and have never had a problem with a busy signal. Something could be wrong on your end, or maybe too many folks know the secret to the fax request, and the system is overloaded.

In a last ditch effort I added a 1 to the phone number, and

it worked!! Go figure

Now I just have to hope I get the kind of site I asked for.

Most long distance numbers do require a 1 in front of them
