Alright, my Wife and I are attending a Disney Wedding In July 2012 and I am already starting to plan (Well I have actually been planning for quited some time already:rolleyes1). And it has come to the point where I am starting to think bout making where to make our ADR's. So I have a small request from all of you,

What are your favourite Table Service meals and why?

We went to WDW in August of 2010 and had a great time but just were not impressed with some of our TS meals (It was my first time being there). If it helps It will just be the two of us going (no children yet) and we will be on the DDP.

Any and all comments are appriciated :)

Thanks in advance

Where were your TS meals on your last trip?

I love Chefs de France. I love the atmosphere, and their mac and cheese is delicious.

While Boma gets mixed reviews, I personally love it. I think you would do well with any of the restaurants at Animal Kingdom.

50's Prime Time can be fun if you like that sort of atmosphere.

Hope that helps!

We were just there in June and here is a list of our favorites.

Sanaa - I think this is definitely a hidden treasure. It's located at AKL - Kidani (the DVC villas) and we had a window seat with a view of the animals, it was fabulous. The tandoori lamb was amazing and so tender. I know some people think the flavors are too toned down but I didn't find that at all and I'm definitely a fan of Indian food. The Chai Cream for dessert was a perfect ending. Oh and definitely get the bread service to start!

Ohana' - Tends to get mixed reviews but the night we were there it was amazing! The steak was so tender and cooked a perfect medium to medium rare and I could cut it with a fork, the chicken was actually my favorite (and I'm a steak person) I'm not sure what seasoning they use but it was out of this world and not dry at all. Even the sides were fabulous. And of course dessert, that bananas foster bread pudding. OMG! I cannot wait to go again in January.

Raglan Road - We really enjoyed this, definitely not a quiet meal but the food was very good and the entertainment was wonderful.

All of my favorites are not on the dining plan, which is the biggest reason we opt out of the plans, but of those on the plan our favorites are Flying Fish and Citricos.

I really like the Garden Grill and Liberty tree, family style, The turkey and fixens are great, I also like the ribeye steak at Planet Hollywood, I thought it was great, House Of Blues has the best meatloft going. 50's Prime time runs a close second for the meatloft.

Kona Cafe is awesome for breakfast or dinner!!

Also we really loved and were surprised at Ragland Road...best Salmon I have EVER tasted! :thumbsup2

Hey guys this is awesome, I appriciate all the input, as for where we have eaten before, Coral Reef, Tony's Town Square, Tappan Edo, Hollywood and Vine and of course others I cannot remember. Hope this helps. Also please feel free to let me know what you did not like and why?

For breakfast (non-character) Kona at the Polynesian and Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

For breakfast (with characters) -- Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom.

Lunch and/or dinner would be Rose & Crown (World Showcase at Epcot), Yak & Yeti (Animal Kingdom), Olivia's Cafe (Old Key West), Sci Fi and Mama Melrose (Studios), Raglan Road (Downtown Disney).

Not on the dining plan -- Fulton's

My favorite Table Service Restaurant is the ESPN Club at the Boardwalk Inn/Boardwalk Villas. Honestly I like going there a lot because of the atmosphere and some of my favorite items on their menu is their Chicken Wings, Macho Nachos For Two, Clam Chowder Soup, ESPN Dinger Sandwich and The Angus Chuck Burger.

While we were there this summer we enjoyed

Chef Mickey's (Character)
Tusker House
Le Cellier
1900 Park Fare (Character)
Tony's at MK
Cap N'Jacks at Downtown Disney
The TS at SSR had a fabulous Prime Rib

In DHS, we love 50's Primetime (great fried chicken!) and fun atmosphere. Love the clips of the old tv shows. Also like the Sci-Fi place because it's fun to sit in a car and watch the old tv clips. We usually get burgers there. We've also enjoyed Mama Melroses (good chicken parmesan, just not as fun as the other two places). We only eat at table service places at DHS because we do not care for any of the counter service places there.

In Epcot, we love LeCellier for lunch. We no longer do dinner there since it takes two credits for dinner. But lunch is still one credit. Also we love Coral Reef for the atmostphere and I usually get a pretty good steak there as well. We have been to Rose and Crown before. The first time the fish and chips were excellent....the second time the fish and chips were a bit on the boring side. Maybe they needed salt. Not sure. This next trip we are trying Via Napoli for the first time.

In Magic Kingdom, we love Tony's for the atmosphere and good food. This trip we are also trying Liberty Tavern and Plaza for the first time. Also this will be a first time for us to try breakfast at Crystal Palace. And just a boat ride away from Magic Kingdom is the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge. That was a fun meal.
